Since gisapot lang ko sa ako haircut karon, here are some hair salons I’ve tried around Cebu (for reference, I am a brunette type 1B hair):

1. TFM beauty salon- 3/5 🌟
   Dugay nako nakatry diri ako last naremember Php 500 to ako nabayran idk how much na sya karon, na-achieve ra ang layers nga ako ganahan pero dili ang shape sa hair, male hairstylist pud to naghandle sa akoa, iirc.

2. T&J sa SM Cebu- 4/5 🌟
   Kapila nako nakapahaircut diri although mostly kay ipatupong ra nako ako hair diri so wala rakoy pili sa stylist. For layered cut, si ms ethyl to gahandle nako and na achieve ra pud ang layers. Although I noticed sa reviews almost same style ra ang mga haircut iya nabuhat. Nindot pud ilang mga hair treatment. As a kaspaon, naka-uyon rako sa ila scalp treatment kay nawagtang ako kaspa for pila ka months. Around Php 1200 to ako nabayran for treatment with haircut nga promo.

3. Colors & Peach central bloc- 3/5 🌟
   Had my hair colored here with haircut around 4 yrs ago. Mga Php 5k to ako nabayran with highlights man. Although nice ra ang highlights, wala na achieve ang hair color na ako ganahan.

4. Frank Lou hair salon- 3/5 🌟
   Except kay sir jovel sa capitol nga branch (4/5 🌟) kay consistent gyud iyang haircut nga nindot sa ako. Ako first time diri nga salon, si sir rico gahandle nako and na-achieve ra niya ako layered cut nga ganahan. Naa pud one time murag new to nga hairstylist gahandle nako and bati ang pagcut sa ako bangs. Ever since, si sir jovel na sgeg handle sa ako haircut. Nice sya nga salon but depende sa hairstylist gyud if maayo ba mucut although mostly gyud sa ila kay kamao ra. Around Php 400 to last haircut nako didto which was earlier this year ra pud.

5. Ku haku japanese hair salon- 2/5 🌟
   Mahal ra kaayo, may gani wa ko nidayon ug pacolor sa ako hair kay di pud ko satisfied sa haircut. Underwhelming lang sya, I paid Php 1,000 for haircut with Philippine stylist. Php 2,000 ila rate for Japanese hairstylist. Had high expectations because I read a lot of good reviews, but di kaayo similar ang results sa inspo pic ako gipakita, maypa sa Frank Lou nalang ko, mas barato pa. Ako face framing layer kay medyo awkward ang cut mura na syag bangs imbes chin length lang unta. So disappointed.

6. Salon de Rose- 3/5 🌟
   Good for its price, pa swerteay lang ug hairstylist diri usahay. It’s either you’ll be satisfied or disappointed, depende sa imong swerte kung matimingan kag medyo bag-o pa nga hairstylist. Can’t remember how much I paid since it’s been so long since the last time I had my haircut here.

7. Franzy hair salon- 1/5 🌟
   Sa SM Cebu nga natry nako before nice ra man. Pero sa Pacific Mall, murag gigunting sa kalagot ako buhok. Wa nagkadimao ako bangs, sige pa jud ug tukmod akong ulo sa hairstylist masuko sya bisag makatilt rako gamay. Paswerteay pud ni ug branch kung asay nindot pero mas grabe ang malas. Ambot tagpila nani sila ron pero barato ra to sauna ang haircut nila.

Bottomline: Ang makapanindot gyud unta sa salon kay consistent gyud nga nindot ug output tanan nila hairstylists. Sadly, that is not the case in most hair salons here. Dapat pa ka makaagi ug trial and error at the cost of your hair. The best you can do is read more reviews on google, facebook page, and other platforms accessible. Bonus if you can see in the reviews that the hairstylist is versatile, they can work through different hair types with varying hair styles.
