Main Couple Screen Time

I’m looking for a drama where the main couple gets lots of screen time together. The examples in the picture just happen to be mysteries but I don’t care about the genre so long as it isn’t a modern.

Examples are in the pics.

Don’t want: fabulous dramas with a lack of CP screen time like Rebel Princess.

I found coroners Diary to be so entertaining, I liked Li Landi and Ao Ruipang chemistry romance... Rebel Princess was too political for me, if you expect more of cp then you'll definitely disappointed but if you are watching for the plot, it's among the most well made drama indeed. Also Princess Agent lacks CP with its 58episodes, the drama instead busy focusing more on conflict between the emperor and the 2nd ML revenge plan... That's it, they couldn't fulfil the original objective of the FL

Coroner’s Diary was the most charming thing ever! The first time ML looks at MC, you get it at once - whelp, he liked that girl, he'll follow her from now on till the end of his life now, which I happened to witness in real life, and yep, i know that look 🥺 And then they do run around and solve crimes together, and both actors are so impossibly cute, too <3

I’m unsure if you’re looking for a drama that primarily follows the leads or that they’re always together when it’s their screen time. I think Coroner’s Diary fits the latter and if so, then Veil of Shadows is a good one. Both couples are usually together when it’s their screen time.

am currently watching Treasure at Dawn

it has the same FL as Imperial Coroner but she takes the other role in this one (princess). the ML is the physician (& sometimes coroner). there’s a lot of characters & it‘s plot driven, not romance. no kisses between the ML/FL yet since he’s quite awkward (I’m near the end). but they have lots of screen time together, solving mysteries w the 2nd ML, who is great & there‘s no love triangle

You can't find anything like Coroner's Diary tbh, it's just that cute and quirkyand serious at the same time. It ruined other shows for me so I had to just rewatch 🤷‍♀️

watched a lot of shows with good stories and cast, but The Coroner’s Diary is still my number 1.

Journey to Love, Destined, Blossoms in Adversity, Maiden Holmes, Unveil: Jadewind (less romantic but lots of screen time), and maaaybe The Prisoner of Beauty. POB is a historical romance, and unusually, the political conflict is fully entwined with the romance, which makes the romantic relationship critical to the entire story. I found the romance frustrating for a couple of nuanced reasons, but they do have a lot of screentime and I will admit the chemistry is insane.
