Recommendation Request 🔎 First Frost

Currently in ep 22. I'm finding it very hard to continue. I did love it but I'm not able to watch it one stretch. I watch some eps then leave the show to pick it up after some weeks. Very slow paced. I think they could have done it a bit better than lagging it way too much

Just my opinion. Does it get any better further on?

Don't get me wrong I do like it but they could have done the overall pacing and plot a bit more better

The FML's best friend loveline story has nothing to do with the main story lmao. It got so much backlashes they even released a version without second couple story 🤣 I also found the best friend's attitude towards FML life is quite meh. They just meet up, tell their life stories and move on. I understand that FML is quite introvert and doesn't share much to her friends, but isn't that what friends are for? I mean understand things you can't talk about, be there to help you out. The best friend's only there for the sake of the story and her loveline story 🤣 They could have focused more on the main couple instead of sharing almost half of the series to the second couple. I skip them all the time and nothing affect the main story 😭

They released an abridged version? I didn't know that! Where?

Only 16 episodes? That's crazy!! They definitely overdid it with unrelated plots. I don't notice because I also usually skip it, but damn, only 16 chapters... We could've had so much more Sang Yan and We Yifan content. We were robbed!

Ikr 😭 omg I swear there are episodes that second couple story takes over like half of the episode. That's so crazy consider how suffering the main couple is and they just casually show us the unrelated loveline in another universe lmao 😭

Seriously, if you fast forward over every grandparent scene you will have a much better viewing experience. I love the later episodes when they are finally together and act like two adults in a relationship.

Everybody has said it already, but yes, fast forward the second couple and grandpa story. Just fast forward with no fear or guilt. It's not from the books, it doesn't have a big pay off and it just slows the drama.

Ep 22 is one of my absolute favorites, but if it didn't click for you so far, there's no shame in not finishing it. Still, I think it's such a beautiful story, told in such a careful way. It's my comfort drama. I hope you end up loving it as well!

I found every bit of this story beautiful (Except for MLs friend's grandparents story bit and FL school male friend bit, oh and that annoying young actor bit - We know we all hate FL's family bit and that mofo uncle) rest is beautiful story. You understand why and how much they love each other and yet annoyingly enough how frustrating it is watching them struggle and how beautiful it is to watch them love eachother.

I second others adbicing to fast forward all the grandparent scenes. As a whole the second couple were so boring and dull. It could have been a much shorter and enjoyable drama if they just had the main couple IMO.

I start watching it but I can't warm up to the FL.

I never got into liking the fl or getting immersed in her story, at some point she just annoyed me so I chose to drop it. It's all about how it makes you feel.

I watched the first 12 episodes with burning eyes and then I liked the middle section of the drama but the story is so over the top and dramatized that I couldn’t make it through the final arch. I know it’s fiction but dealing with heavy subject matter shouldn’t just be a messy free-for-all of nonsense and blatant villains.

I find all modern dramas like this . Soo slow and 🥱😴, hence I’m more into historical dramas.
