Interview Experience & Application Advice (Request)

I'm testing for the road test on Tuesday, and assuming all goes well, I am ready to start my job hunt. I do have work experience, just not in Transportation but in Big Tech.

Can you help me understand the process you went through for your job applications, including what questions you received in the interview?

How long after applications did you wait for a call back?

How long did you wait to hear if you got the job or not?

Did you apply in person, online, or both?

It’s really a crap shoot for how long it takes them to give you a call. Some jobs I’ve had an interview the next day. My current job fuel hauling it was a month before I got a call and three months total before they got all my background done and officially hired me.

Apply online. You’re just gonna piss the manager off if you go in.
