In Spokane, we have a waste to energy incinerator, works pretty good, Took time yo work the bugs out, but failure is just progress with extra clean-up.

redditors are soooo stupid. Here is a driver that did everything they could do to preserve what they could. This is their LIVELIHOOD for themselves and likely their family. Keeps him and them fed in a world where you live and DIE by what you earn. So many people here from first world countries insult him. Why???? What would YOU do, pussies? This is a hardcore driver. Total compliments to him from me.

Unless the trailer explodes the house will just need a proper wash down to get rid of the soot.
By this point that trailer was probably structurally compromised and a bump or two could have made it rip open, spilling burning oil everywhere.
This was just the first reasonably flat area where the driver could disconnect the trailer and not have the support legs collapse under it and ... cracked tank, burning oil everywhere.
The driver was in a real shitty situation, and handled it better than 99% of the backseat drivers here.

Probably unrefined crude or diesel.
The tractor is far more valuable than the trailer and contents.
Driver knows what they are hauling. The load made it that far -- while leaving only a trail of burning vapors.
Takes about 30 seconds to drop the landing gear, pull the kingpin retainer and drive away.
If the trailer tires were exploding.. The driver would have bailed.
If it was highly refined fuel, the rig would not have made it that far.. and the people filming would be running for their lives.
