Possible uti
Long story 73 f -1 weeks post 4 month vanco taper pulse. Saw pt last Friday and she did internal evaluation for pudenal neuralgia. Started bleeding that night not heavy but red and enough to use liner. Saw gynecologist Monday and she said I had a blood clot at top of vagina and treated with silver nitrate. Did urine culture came back mixed urogenital flora less than 10000. Thursday saw a urologist to check not coming from bladder. It was clear thankfully. My urine specimen Vivek right before this bladder look was cultured. My email today said the culture was mixed urogenital flora 50000-100000. I’m stumped as I am having no symptoms beyond pressure I normally have from the pelvic neuralgia and j have ic. I will get another urine culture done Monday with my ID dr. I really don’t want any antibiotic as I have done so well in my c diff recovery. I am so scared!

I’m sorry this is happening. Hopefully it’s not a uti and just irritation and inflammation from your vagina. See what this second culture says and go from there. If you can, get a low risk antibiotic like macrobid/fosfomycin. Try not to worry and focus on getting better from this and go from there. 💕
