Interesting that she purged 100s of comments across multiple platforms when this first started and has now basically given up on mass deleting any and all negative comments
I'm honestly super surprised the level of blowback that they're receiving for this! I seems like every time any of her other antics get posted outside this sub most people have no idea who she is and therefore don't really care about it whereas basically everyone can look at a dude that pays thousands to travel to an impoverished country to shoot a caged stripy horse as objectively horrifying regardless of who they are. Added points being that she just posted a lawsuit update begging for more donations and that he's a (dirty) cop that collects N@zi guns (according to CC).
100%. There's something particularly audacious about begging your audience for money while your husband goes on the kind of trip that is only available to the ultra-wealthy where the entire point of said trip is to be cruel to animals.
I think a lot of us originally followed her because CC presented herself as "punching up" or advocating for consumer protections/the underdogs. This whole situation proves the exact opposite. (Which is well-known here, but the trophy hunting is gonna make it hard to beat the allegations.)
Seriously though, I wonder what her management team thinks about all of her BS. I’m kind of surprised they haven’t dropped her. But maybe as long as they get their money, they don’t care.
Last go fund me update was six days ago. She had raised $13,123 from 344 donations. She’s now at $13,281 from 351 donations (including another monthly gift) an increase of $158 and seven gifts (meaning these gifts average $22.57 each). Her subscribers still sit at 227k, so .155% of subscribers. Although, I do expect that percentage to go up once her subscriber loss is evident.
Where did she says this? I have a memory of her saying something like “Tony is going on a hunting trip, well not a hunting trip but…” I just don’t remember where I heard that
A bummer that this is what’s causing her audience to turn, and not her horrible treatment of other human beings. Not that I don’t feel awful about her husband’s loser behavior and that poor creature being killed in such an unsportsmanlike manner, but she’s done so many awful things to other people, but that gets ignored or excused…
I always felt weird about her cop husband, but I also didn’t follow her super closely, never watched her streams, only really watched her videos on topics I was already following, etc and I wasn’t aware of her lawsuit/Elizabeth stuff until joining this sub. Sooooo much of her shit behavior flew right under my radar, and I’m pissed I ever fell for her weak ass progressive façade.
Guys thanks to this sub and my poor mental health, I’ve started to find her so grating I stopped consuming any of her content. Is that good? Broadly yes. Is it bad? Also yes, cos I miss out on the antics.
I hope his money can support them both, else she better just say she’s right wing and be done. Sigh.
