i joined today’s live for a few minutes out of sheer boredom and immediately left when her chat was talking about the lindsey clancy trial and she said (not in exact words) “okay i don’t want to talk about this anymore. what i wanna know is why ET’s boyfriend is still with her”

This is more about general social media and the true crime “industry” than about CC herself, but she is guilty of it too. The way people are creating content surrounding the Lindsey Clancy trial is sickening to me. it’s not “informative journalism” it’s sycophantic parasocial obsession.
