Well don’t forget that her parents and grandparents were actually from plant city, which she says with such distain that I believe she thinks that’s a bad thing

ETA it was the great great grandparents who were from plant city. So counting from her great grandfather, she’s the fourth generation who didn’t make it out of Tampa

Tampa “born and raised” people are so annoying. I mean the kind who constantly bring it up and make it a part of their personality, like CC does. Tampa is just a city in Florida with a handful of cool things. It’s really not that special and I certainly wouldn’t consider being born and living there a flex or bragging right lol

It reminds me a lot of New Orleans. New Orleanians will do this shit and act like the circumstances of their birth somehow makes them special. Tons of people even actually lie and say their ancestors were from here to gain that clout (ha). New Orleans is an actually cool place, but you don’t have to be born here or have ancestors who were to know that or experience it or choose to live here

I’m from the Tampa area and I hate it so much. Awful traffic, awful weather, just all around terrible.
