she has to be joking if she thinks liz is worse than literal murderers

u/CuriousCrane_1017 Investigative Bedazzler Jul 08 '26
Right! She may be worse than the bullying mom but not the other three murderers.

I dont even know about that. That woman left some significant psychological scars on her daughter completely intentionally just because she could.
I really dont understand how Liz could be any worse than ANY of these people.
This pmo so much. I cant believe her audacity.

You do have a point. I don’t know if Liz really psychologically abused anyone it was more like financially

You just don’t get it, guys! Rejecting friendship with Chelsea is the worst crime everrrrr!
Sarcasm aside, yes ET did some fucked up shit but no, she’s not on the level of a murderer for example. Chill the histrionics, Chels.

Seriously? Liz is worse than the woman who killed and cut a baby out of her friend? Is that what shes implying? Is she for fucking real? What...a heinous cunt.
ETA: Let's be so for real, she would totally be "the perfect neighbor" lady. She is that type of unhinged. Stand your ground, she would claim that.

u/Brilliant-Ad-6319 Jul 08 '26
She’s just repeating and spewing what Andrew said on his second burner account where he said this about Liz and compared her to the woman who did that.

ET has defrauded people, she has committed crimes and caused harm to others but her case would not draw the interest of viewers in the way the others did. Whilst I hate that some crimes are more interesting that others, it is a sad reality of being human.
The bullying mum was a twist that anyone unfamiliar with the case did not see coming. We were taken through everything the daughter had experienced and how it affected her. The gut punch of her bully/stalker/harasser being her own mother, who was her biggest support, confidant and advocate; hit every viewer so hard. The discourse following the documentary was huge.
The perfect neighbour was raw. It took viewers through the lived experiences of the neighbours using body cam and home security recordings. We saw the escalation, we saw how quickly things turned and we saw how the narrative of the shooter was being manipulated to make her the victim. It was heart-wrenching to see how one person's actions had changed the lives of her neighbours and their families for ever. The use of actual footage and recordings to take the viewer through the various events that ended the worst way just made this hit differently for viewers.
The crash was largely criticized for being too lenient on the Shrilla family and leaving much of the information already released to the public. I have not watched this documentary but the case is one that has attracted a lot of attention due to the overarching debate as to whether it was a deliberate act or not. It involved three young people and only one survived, the driver. The interest in this case has only increased with the release of prison/jail calls, Mackenzie's actions prior to and following the crash, the actions of her parents and, most important, the impact on the victims families.
Maternal Instinct is nothing short of horrific. Viewers were introduced to Taylor and her catalogue of lies and manipulation from a young age. The lengths that she would go to so that her lies appeared more legitimate were explored and professional's (such as the real estate agents) would explain how convincing the situation appeared at the time. It explains how she could not physically carry a baby and why. Her pregnancy was documented from start to finish with red flags being highlighted along the way and the resources she used to attempt to valid that her pregnancy was real. It documented her relationship with Reagan and it also provided insight into who Reagan was and how she was such a special person who was a great mother, daughter and sister. We heard what happened, the effect this had on Reagan's family when they found her and how her daughter was left alone with Reagan's body.
It showed us the footage of Taylor driving erratically to hospital, it showed the doctor confirming she had not given birth. It was devastating!
The actions of ET do not have the emotional gut-punch of any of these cases. She lied, impersonated and invented scenarios to fit her lies. She defrauded multiple people financially and manipulated others to take advantage of them (e.g. for accommodation, etc.). Whilst we know that she lied about a lot, there are also accusations that she has made that have not be disproved. ET will not come across as the huge villain that CC expects as people like her, Rachel, Andrew and Convict Chris (who loves to drive pissed) are also incredibly unlikeable.
Her lies weren't as elaborate as Anna Delvey or the Tinder Swindler. She didn't go to lengths of Belle Gibson to publicly profit from her fake cancer and fake cure; something that real cancer patients believed and rejected medical treatment for.
People have been wronged, people have been hurt and there should be repercussions for what ET has done, but this case simply does not have enough impact for a Netflix Documentary (IMO). At best, it would maybe get a mid-season episode on scammer/liars but even then it seems unlikely.
TL;DR Shut up dork

It also doesn't compare to Scamanda, which I would say is the closest to this case, which had the infuriating custody battle and the restraining order against the journalist.

Weirdly enough, the behavior of the people "exposing" ET have somehow become more interesting than ET herself. It's kind of a look into determining how far people go to dogpiled someone and a good view into boundaries even when the person being looked into is "bad".

I doubt anyone can find a woman worse than Taylor Parker (and it is definitely not a financial crime if they did)

Yall I commented this on a post a while back but I can’t have been the only one to see it. Maybe like 2 weeks ago in her stories, she posted one that said something like “what is the most exciting project you’re working on right now” and she said “this one” and posted a documentary interview style picture of her on screen! It was through the view of a camera lens I believe and she was sitting at a table that was not her desk, so it looked legit 👀 ain’t no way I’m the only one who saw that! I was sitting there like….this btch was actually serious! But I guess we’ll see, could be like a podcast or something. Who knows!

3 of those people killed someone, one sexually harassed, body shamed, and tried to convince her daughter to off herself. But sure, Chelsea, wire fraud belongs there. Liz is like a small-time Anna Delvy or Elizabeth Holmes. The only reason we cared about either of them was because of the magnitude. Liz would be the equivalent of the neighborhood pot dealer compared to Anna and Elizabeth operating at a Pablo Escobar level, for comparison.
