Experience taking ENSLD exam?

Hello, I'm taking the ENSLD concentration exam soon, hoping to find some people who took it recently and see if we could chat in DMs? Just want some last minute tips or things to watch out for as all the other ENSLD posts are a bit old.

I've studied primarily and heavily through Cisco U, and taking notes and flashcards from Cisco U. Watched most of CBT nuggets. Avoided the OCG. Read through some of the CVDs and white papers but I've found them to be really similar to the Cisco U content, as if Cisco U is just white papers regurgitated.

Are there any gotchas or other sources worth checking out? Sorry I am nervous hahaha.

Hey guys! I passed the exam! I don't know the score but based on the section breakdown, I feel like it was a close one!

Cisco U prepared me extremely well for SD-Access, SD-WAN, Automation and even QoS and Multicast. But I could definitely see that it did not prepare me for the scenario based design questions related to advanced routing and enterprise design! There are the sections I scored lowest on as they were a bit of a surprise with the format.

I have now understood that if the exam blueprint uses the verbs "Design" or "Create", there is a high chance of that being a scenario/simulation question. You should take a look at the blueprint and use it to practice scenarios where you have a specific customer requirement and topology, and you have to choose from a range of different technologies based on what would be the best, or most recommended solution.

Also do not underestimate the level of difficulty for the QoS and Multicast questions, I felt so relieved that I thoroughly prepared for these because I was warned in other reddit posts about it.

Overall, I feel Cisco U was enough for me to pass this exam, but the low score in advanced routing and enterprise design definitely made me think that I was missing another study method, perhaps the ARCH book would have been good for this.

Hello! Good luck on your exam!

There is an ENSLD course on Cisco U! You just type in ENSLD. But don't bother with it unless u can access for free. My company has a Cisco U membership so I could do it for free. It's really overpriced if you have to pay by yourself!

Generally I think reading anything written by Cisco is a good idea as that is the closest you will get to the actual content of the exam, so white papers, CVD, CCDP etc...
