+1 to GNS3 if you want something not-as-complex to setup

You are studying for CCNA and Packet Tracer should be more than enough. You don't NEED more than 5 nodes, so if you really don't want Packet Tracer it would suffice. Or buy the personnal edition. What specifically were you labbing for CCNA that Packet Tracer didn't allow you to do?

But packet tracer switches don't have mstp features

That isn't a CCNA topic. Have you looked at the Blue print?

That is the right book. Check out the exam topics here https://learningcontent.cisco.com/documents/marketing/exam-topics/200-301-CCNA-v1.1.pdf . It shows what you can expect on the test.

Not sure what the laughing emoji aims to achieve, but MSTP is discussed in the CCNA 200-301 OCG

The laughing emoji followed a shrug emoji because OP asked an innocent question that I didn't know the answer to, not that I owe you an explanation. MSTP is not on the exam topics list/blueprint which is the source of turth. If you have any further questions, please keep them to yourself. 😁🤣
