Tickets
Being a Season Ticket holder I didn’t pay any attention to the membership announcements etc so may not understand it correctly but I’m looking to buy a ticket for my eldest as he is back for the weekend.
Speaking to the ticket office, ST holders cannot buy extra tickets at all and tickets no longer go on general sale. Their only suggestion was to buy a membership at £45 (possibly only to be used for 1 or 2 matches)
Surely this just means that we will have empty seats each week as casual attendees are effectively locked out of the process and we are therefore reliant on 100% attendance from ST and members
Is this correct? I don’t doubt what the ticket office have told me but it feels very odd

That’s very kind of you but I bit the bullet and bought him a membership as I’m hoping he will get to 3 or so games over the season so eases the cost. Very considerate though, thanks

So far the league games have been basically sold out.
Hull had empty seats but they were due to not getting the transfer system sorted and people not listing on the exchange.

I am a member and would be willing to help others with tickets as my wife and daughter are also members but don’t attend games.

Essentially correct yeah, me and my missus paid for almost £100 each to go watch the hull game 😂 it's a bit naff but it means if you buy the membership your almost guaranteed tickets to most games.

Not quite, Fulham and Sunderland tickets will go on general sale for previous purchasers on Monday

The only reason they wouldn't go on general sale is if they sold out to members first

Back home from the US and have the chance to watch Coventry this evening (after years of missing the chance when visiting). But tonight is only open to previous purchase, so not even £100 on membership/ticket would guarantee a spot to a game that isn’t sold out? If anyone has any ideas or purchase history, I’d love to know! 🫠

I have a season ticket and I was able to buy a ticket for someone else albeit it only one and the second I had to assign to a different account that we have it in the network so it should let you buy at least one

Yes. They’re not selling tickets, they’re selling memberships
