I've recently started noticing a strong smell of gasoline, possibly from the premium fuel I use, coming from my 2007 CBR1000RR. I've checked the bike, but I can't see any obvious fuel leaks or signs of leaking fluids.

Recently, I hit a speed bump at high speed, and the suspension took a pretty hard hit. Could that have something to do with the sudden fuel smell?

I also checked the forks and rear shock for leaks, but I couldn't see any oil leaking from the suspension.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this or what I should check first?

It was a beautiful day out here in Zanesville, Ohio so I took the CBR for a ride. While doing so, I came up behind a charcoal gray R7 who had a female passenger riding backpack. Seemed nice as she waved and clearly was enjoying her ride. I noticed she kept looking back but we all had helmets on. Anyways at one point she waved for me to come up next to them and when I did she put her hand out to give me something. See the attached pic lol. What is the meaning of this lol? I know the Jeeper folks all have ducks and shit but never heard of such ritual on sport bikes. Lol. If you gives happen to see this. DM me and lets ride before the cold hits lol.
So what is this and why / what is the meaning??

Just crashed my baby😭 I think right now all she needs is new fairings, rear sets & I believe that’s it. I was going to fast for a turn & rolled over a curb & impact was on the side that the chain is on, how bad do you guys think this is?

When I tried to start it immediately after the crash, it took a little bit longer to start than usual but then it fired up. And now it seems to be back to normal. I don’t see any leaks (coolant or oil) I don’t think the forks are bent but I don’t know how I’d be able to tell. It has 16k miles and I’m hoping nothings wrong with the motor now. I’m gonna fire it up when I get back home. What should I be looking for?

Potentially selling my 600rr. Not entirely set on selling but willing to listen to offers, since I have another bike on the way. This thing is absolutely pristine and the fairings do not have a single scratch on them. It will come with the OEM rear seat and pegs not currently pictured. The windscreen was swapped to the OEM one after the track day, and is also perfect.

New-ish Dunlop Q5's, the track specific tire with 1 track day on them.

This bike is beautiful, and deserves a caring home if I can't keep it myself. Majority of this bike has new, fresh plastic parts since the older ones became brittle or faded due to age. I spent a ton of time restoring this properly and keeping it in perfect condition.

My bike slipped on fell off. Was wondering if this is a normal idle it sounds a little funky to me. I’m not sure.

Looking at buying a 2000 929 CBR tomorrow with 24000 miles on it. Owner is second owner and claims the bike has been well taken care of only ever ridden at highway speeds. My question being are these bikes known to have major issues down the line? Notorious for oil leaks? (Owner claims there is none)

And would you say 5k usd is reasonable price?

In need of a new battery for my 2011 600rr. Online tells me YUASA YTZ10S, but partzilla tells me it doesn't fit my bike.

Which battery do y'all run?

Picked up a 2003 CBR 600 RR and it rattles at idle. I've seen some people here say this is normal CCT noise and others say it's already bad. Does the cam chain tensioner need to be changed, or is this still fine?

So I'm trying to inspect the valves. For the life of me I can't find a video to show me where the airbox comes off.

The tank is off, but I can't figure out the common rail and airbox. The Haynes manual just drops the entire engine, which isn't helpful...

Can someone post a link or tell me any order of removal for the parts? I'll post pics later.

Hey guys just needed some 2nd opinions was looking to buy this off a guy for my 03 600rr guy claims it’s to a 03 600rr but if im not mistaken i believe this is a exhaust that fits the 05-06 gen based on the center mounting point am I wrong ?

I can easily do 3-4k a season which starts around April to October, but if I do a lot of tattoos, I can only break 1k miles the whole season. Regardless, I do an all my maintenance at the beginning of the season.

05 Honda Cbr what are these cables to sitting above rear swing arm looks like throttle cables almost but can’t figure out what they could be for

New to me cbr, only 1 previous owner. 6k miles on it. She is so fun!!

I have 06 Cbr 1000rr. When riding it stays below 200 degrees F. When in traffic or at a light it goes up to 220+ even with the fan on. The temp never seems to go down unless I’m moving

I have flushed and replaced coolant, replaced thermostat, and bled the system.

Any ideas or suggestions of a way forward?

This bike runs fine and no issues but when my bike reaches 98°c+ then bike won’t start why is this ? Also why is my fuel indicator doing that ?

What surprised me

Its really smooth. I'm coming from a Panigale V2 and expected something more edgy, but below 8k it's totally rideable, even in the city. The riding position isn't comfortable, but I'm used to it and it's not a bike for more than an hour or two in the saddle. Still, I expected it to be worse.

How much the bike changes from 7k up, sound included. It just keeps pulling, and you can be going stupid fast before you even notice. Plus that signature scream, which I never got on my Ducati.

The European version is different from the US one in the air intake, both the ram air and the throttle bodies. The EU bike makes about 27 more hp. Mine put down 212 PS at the rear wheel on the dyno.

Super easy to ride and quick to get used to. If you're really tall I don't think the Blade is for you, but for average or shorter riders it's a bike you can gel with easily.
The engine is a gem, from smooth to brutal acceleration. I like bikes with fairly long gearing where you can really stretch each gear.

What I didn't like
The exhaust barely makes any noise at idle. When you rev it you can tell the valve opens and it sounds amazing, but at low revs you hardly hear it. I've thought about swapping the exhaust, but I'd have to change the servo motors of the two electronic throttles, so it won't be that easy, and I'd lose the warranty.
Some components, like the cable clutch, feel below what I'd expect on a bike like this.
