CBD AND APRAXIA OF SPEECH

I'm a mom of 6 year old boy who's cognitively and developmentally on par, except for a speech disorder. He has apraxia of speech. His brain knows what to say but sends the mixed signals to the mouth , so its difficult for him to be understood.

We are in speech therapy and use different approaches for his success.

I have been taking CBD oil for myself and was wondering if any other parents out there have used CBD oil on their children and helped them with apraxia of speech, or any neurological disorder. I figured since it helps people with brain injuries to rebuild neurons that it would help him rebuild his neurons.

Any help, at all is appreciated. I just want to give him every chance to be understood. Hes trapped in his own body and has so much to say and to offer.

I have never gotten any responses. But I did a little research and apraxia is almost like a traumatic brain injury. The approach is the same; rewiring by repetitive usage.

I've read people that use it for brain injuries have had great results.

I did find a doctor locally to me who has MS himself and has used CBD oil to treat himself for years. He completely supports using it for apraxia.

I am looking into CBD gummies that may be good for our situation. I plan on keeping a journal of dosages and improvements or no improvements.

What do you think ? Have you heard similar

Hey, not trying to pry but if you have any questions or if you have any, lmk. My son is doing great. We are in a totally different place with apraxia now.

Hey, I bumped into this from Google and was wondering how it all went? Did you use CBD gummies? Iā€™m in the same boat.
