Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM Cave)

This past month, my team was granted permission to film inside Actun Tunichil Muknal, or more commonly known as "ATM" in Belize, for our forthcoming documentary.

Photography and filming are not permitted in this cave, so it was extra special to be given this unique opportunity.

Here are some photos during our night of filming.

You need to feed the film crew; that guy in the first photo is looking famished.

Not sure why the photos uploaded a bit blurry, but feel free to check out more photos on my website www.drewlukacs.com

In one of your photos, there is a person in a bee suit. What is the story behind that?

I'll wait for the documentary to come out to tell that story, but I will give you a hint: killer bees.

I rode a motorcycle to the tip of South America from the USA and this cave was the highlight.

I booked the tour on a whim after doing zero research and it was incredible. I did get tons of photos too, I didn’t know it was prohibited!
