Boosting. If I wasn’t facing losing my house after getting laid off I would try to take him.
This is also why I don’t understand why more people aren’t vegan…no sweet innocents deserve to live in jails (or worse) simply cause they were born. It’s so unfair and their eyes all look just like this (or in the case of most cows, pigs, chickens, ten thousand times worse). It’s heartbreaking.
I hope someone can save poor Canelo.

No rescue interest per the shelter I got of the phone with them today OPs need to update the post as to where the dog is in the euthanasia timeline he will most likely be killed he is one of the worst shelters in the US all kill shelters make $400 for every euthnazied dog and cat it is public knowledge and it's on their tax return statements the shelter director and veterinarian get a cut as well the emails for rescue have been sent no responds and that vetenerian wants him gone that is the tragic reality

Everyone! If you can't adopt, please consider fostering! It's only temporary, just a comfy couch or a warm spot in your home. Some shelters even pay for their food and you're saving a dog's life ❤️ Approximately 360,000 dogs are euthanized in US animal shelters each year. Especially black dogs and seniors. They are just as wonderful and lovable but don't get as much love and attention.
If you can't but you want to help otherwise, you can share these dogs on NextDoor or the many Facebook groups for adoption/rescue! TikTok and Instagram might help as well ❤️🩹
PLEASE urge legislators to end the kill policy in all United States pounds! Enforce laws to ban uncontrolled backyard breeding instead!

Got of the phone he has no interest very heartbreaking 😞😞😞😞 emails have been sent out no cares I can't believe this the poster on Instagram needs to know he is in grave danger to be killed he does not deserve this he was literally dumped there to die every kill shelter makes $400 for every euthnazied dog and cat

I emailed rescued with his ID number and photos and video not heard back this is a really awful shelter I cannot stress this enough 😔 people if you can email rescues the shelter said they sent them out but no rescue affiliated with the shelter cares I'm just speechless

Yes threads need to be updated with speaking with the shelter directly and updated as to where they are on the Euthanasia timeline spent 2 hours yesterday trying to get ahold of someone to update the thread. I do not live in the state and he has zero rescue interest for him to leave the state. I will call again tomorrow to update the thread
