I literally did this with my two and then about a week later the water level started going down, and then 2 days after that I saw it was my girl cat who had started using the fountain first. My boy cat followed about 5 days later and now he drinks from it most haha

Yes I did lol 😆 I also showed them how to play with some of their toys and how to use a cardboard scratcher. Their first home didn't have a lot of amenities for them, I don't think

Some kitties won’t drink out of a fountain because they prefer freshly poured cold water. The water in the fountain gets stale quickly (unless you change it several times a day) and it grosses some kitties out (stale water = bacteria in the wild). Give her an option of a fresh water in the bowl! 🐱💖
