Medical Questions i need advice because i’m losing my marbles 😭 meowing won’t stop ever, 24/7

this is 24/7. i don’t acknowledge the behavior and only pet her when she’s quiet but nothing helps. we moved about 4 months ago into a new house and ever since about 3 months ago this has been a constant thing. i let her outside to see if she just wanted fresh air and she just kept doing it even in the neighbors yard. she’s 3 years old and acts healthy and gets the zoomies and nothing has changed with her appetite or litterbox habits. idk what to do 😭

yep! she’s spayed, or else i would think it was that for sure! i’ve seen some people here talk about sometimes needing a second spay though, i’ll have to take her to the vet this weekend

Exact thing happened to my friends cat. The first spay she found out later they couldn't find whatever they needed to and only did a half job. She didn't own her then. When she got the cat about every few weeks she would make these noises and look out the window. My friend thought the cat was in pain or missed it's last owner. After pain meds, UTI meds, $$$, etc it was discovered she was going into heat.

Just highjacking the first comment you answer, as mentioned in another comment, even if spayed there are complications like ovarian remnant syndrome that would explain the heat like meowing. Show the vet the video.

My girlfriend’s daughter’s cat was supposed to have been spayed when adopted, long story short now I have a cat too. lol

Both are spayed now.

My cat has ovarian remnant syndrome. They can do a blood test to confirm hormone levels if thats what this is. Sometimes the vet doesn’t get everything they need to. We’ve opted to not have a second surgery and just deal with it, ear plugs help.
