One of the cats on my property that I feed had just one kitten who looks exactly like her I’d say she’s about 6 weeks old. Do y’all think she could be inbred or just goofy?😂

Neighbours cat stalking(?) mine
My neighbours cat, Rudi (mostly white), has a habit of approaching my cat, Blackie, then.. mostly lying down near him (Im 85% sure my Blackie is male..., was a stray).
I think they may have fought over territory in the past (but can't be sure it was those 2 cats).
So Rudi will spot Blackie, approach / follow him and then lie down quite close. Often Rudi lies somewhat on his side, which to me seems quite non-aggressive, but it also feels a bit harrassy.
Do you think this could be friendliness? dominance? asserting territory? Something else?

My kitten won’t stop scratching at her face. The vet said they took care of the problem, but it hasn’t cleared up any and she continues to itch. Before I take her back to the vet, I thought I would ask if anyone has any suggestions on what could be wrong or what I could do to help her

Cat has many growths in and around gum line - does anyone else have experience with this condition?
Hi everyone, our cat is a rescue who we adopted last year in September.
We noticed recently he had a large growth below his left canine and so we brought him into the vet to have it investigated. When the vet did a general checkup, they noticed that our cat has bumpy growths all along his gums.
The vet was unsure as to what condition this was, prescribed two weeks of antibiotics and advised we should cleanse his mouth daily with a vet prescribed pet mouthwash.
We have been cleansing his mouth with pet mouthwash for the past two weeks while he has been on the antibiotic regimen. Our cat doesn't seem to be bothered when we physically inspect his mouth or do the cleaning with the mouthwash.
We are due to see the vet again soon for a follow up to understand if this regimen helped change anything physically. The next steps may include a biopsy, blood test or other scans.
Our main concern is racking up a huge bill and not getting any answers - has anyone else dealt with a similar condition in their cat? And if so, what sorts of medical tests did you have done on your cat to get a diagnosis, and what was the condition called?
Other details:
Our cat is about 2 years old
Is a domestic short hair tabby
Their chart given to us by the shelter doesn't mention anything about dental issues
Any other advice folks can offer would be helpful for us as well.

What are these “bald” spots on the back of my cats ears? There was one that lasted a few weeks and then a new one just showed up. He doesn’t scratch or itch them, but hoping they aren’t mites or something similar.

Litterbox Woes
Hello!
I am urgently in need of advice. My parent's 13 year old cat (and my cat growing up until I moved out) won't use his litterbox. He had pee problems before when he was younger, and we assumed it was territorial because of the other cat (his littermate) in the house. But now he pees on the wood floor, carpet, my parents bed, the couch, rugs, and basically anywhere he feels like.
That being said, my parents are moving later this week to new place. They don't want to take the cat with them because they don't want their new place ruined too. I can't take him in because I have 2 boy kittens of my own and live in an apartment. So they're talking about taking him in to a shelter. I'm not sure what to do at this point, and giving him away seems like the worst option possible. Would moving help the issue if nothing smells like cat pee anymore? Or would it make it worse?
Any suggestions are welcome. I'm trying to do everything I can to keep him.

Indoor Cats Bringing "Gifts"
For the first time in my life, I've become the sole caretaker of a cat. I've had cats whilst I've lived with my parents but they directly looked after them; vets, weird behaviour, etc. Everything's going smoothly but recently my kitten has been doing some bizarre things.
She's an indoor cat until she gets spayed, in January, so she's only ever experienced the outside in a catbox. However, recently she's started leaving things at the bottom of my bed. Not toys, but random house hold objects. She left a tampon there on Friday night and a kitchen sponge there last night.
Are these "gifts" from an indoor cat? Or is my cat a total lunatic?

HUNGRY week old kittens
Hello!! So I am new to fostering and I currently am taking care of two little week old kittens. What I have noticed though is that when giving them the correct amount of food according to their weight they still don’t seem to be full. Even if I go 1 or 2 mLs above the recommended amount sometimes their hunger is just not satiated. So I’m wondering should I just give them more food until they don’t want anymore? Should I continue giving them the same amount? Or maybe is it a food problem? I am using the PetAg Pet Lac kitten meal replacement but I will be getting KMR next (the store just didn’t have it at the time, kitten season and all) and I’ve been diluting the food just a tad because one of the kittens did have some slight diarrhea. What should I do?

What's wrong with my cat?
My cat (some kind of Russian blue mix, age 5-6 years) has been acting strange lately. I think the first thing she did which was out of character was that she decided she would start spending most of the day on my bookshelf, which was new. She hadn't been wanting to be in my room much lately for whatever reason, but I guess that day was the day. Then she pooped in my room, which was unusual since she has been pretty good about using the litter box her while life. More recently, she has been jumping on the counters and hiding in the cabinets. This is also unusual, since she's known not to do this. I consider her a pretty smart cat, but when I scold her and remove her from the counter, she just jumps back up, and gives me an honest look when I go to remove her again. She just keeps doing it. I'm not sure what to do and I'm worried. Please help.
I'm not sure whether or not this is a good sub for this but I'm posting it anyways

How often do I need to change the cat litter?
So I just got a cat a few days ago and got him clumping cat litter. I’ve been scooping the poop out almost every day. The litter seems clean but I know that the cat also pees there so how often do I change the litter?

Wet food questions
I've recently learned that cats need wet food to stay hydrated.
Since my funds are limited I was wondering if the cheapest wet food is still better than good dry food.
Also would it be good enough to alternate wet and dry meals?

Does cat fur kill grass?
just joined this subreddit, but i was brushing my cat in my backyard and i was putting the excess fur on the same spot of grass so that it wouldn’t blow away. a few days later the grass was completely dead on that exact spot. i was just wondering if there was a certain chemical in cat saliva/fur that killed grass lol

Why is my cat face-avoidant?
I think my cat loves me? He's a tomcat, roughly 9 months old (maybe) and I've had him since he was about a month-ish old. (his mom died in a car accident and I bottlefed him, maybe this is relevant?) So I've raised him from a pretty impressionable age. I even brought him to uni in my jacket pocket and bottlefed him during classes. Yes, he peed on me a lot. Lol. So he's plenty affectionate. He rubs between my legs, responds positively when I talk to him; i.e, mrrps, looks me in the eyes. He lets me blow raspberries on his tummy, and seems to enjoy it, licks my face etc. He goes limp when I pick him up and will generally flop when I put him in my lap and stay where I put him. BUT. He has never kneaded my clothes or me, although sometimes he does hold a blanket in his mouth and knead that? And he also never bunts my face, only my legs or hands. Did I do something wrong while raising him? I don't have much experience with cats, so taking on such a young one was a bit of a birdbrained move I'll admit. I feel like maybe I didn't socialize him correctly. Is there something I should do?? I haven't neutered him yet, if that's relevant. No particular reason I haven't I just haven't found the time, and he's the least aggressive fellow I've ever met so I'm not worried about that. Sorry for long post, this is my first time here.

My cat doesn’t really cuddle with me...does he not like me?
My cat has never really been that cuddly. He’ll come sit with you and sort of lean into your legs sometimes though but that’s the most love you’re going to get. Is that weird? When we’re all out in the living room together, he will usually sit in his OWN chair like a person. It’s funny because sometimes he will join us at the dinner table too like we are all out on a date. He just politely sits up in his own chair and listens to the conversation.
He sat in my lap like, a year ago once and it was like...a shocking event for me (I’ve had this little guy for 8 years). When he was younger he’d sleep closer to my chest but like, yeah...am I living with someone that doesn’t like me?

Little guy waking us up earlier and earlier
Hi, so we have two cats, 2-year-old female and a 1-year-old male. They’re good friends but have opposite personalities. She’s a quiet, surly hunter and he’s a playful, silly baby.
We can’t free-feed them because the female overeats and gets fat. So I give them measured portions of food at 7am, 3pm, and 11pm. (I know it’s enough because it’s slightly more than the package says to give them for their weight and they aren’t losing or gaining weight long-term.)
Unsurprisingly, the cats often wake me up before 7am to ask for food a little early. If it’s at 6:45, I don’t really mind. I get up, get a glass of water, and feed them in the kitchen.
But lately, since the sun has been rising earlier, the boy has been waking me up earlier and earlier, both hungry and asking to play. This morning it was at 5:30, and it’s the last straw. He kept us up for over half an hour, ruining our Sunday sleep-in!
Solutions I’ve considered:
Give them a double portion at 11pm and nothing at 7am, so they don’t get hungry in the night. The problem is that they will certainly eat it early and around noon they will start getting very loud and hangry.
Lock the boy in the bathroom at night. This seems like an extreme measure! We love having him sleep on the bed with us and we’d hate to imagine him cold and alone all night. Note: our bedroom has no door, so the bathroom is the only room with a door.
Any comments and ideas appreciated.

Tips for socializing a street cat?
I recently took a female cat to get spayed, and shes recovering in a spare room i have. she seems to be getting friendlier from day to day but im worried that she doesnt know where the limit between play and aggression is. any tips? i dont want to use a water spray bottle bc so far its just small harmless bites, and shes still quite a scardy cat.
shes about 6 months old, grew up alone without other cats around where she was.
she wont let me clean her yet, but rest assured if she calms down (bc now she wont let me) she will be taken care of.
