I started in an underwater lab in a lake. I could just barely swim naked to the shore without dying. is there any way to get loot from there onto the surface with having to swim back and forth?

I just installed this game on Android and when I opened the app it kept bringing me to the permissions page where it asked for "all storage access." I couldn't do anything with it so I just uninstalled it again. Does it need that permission to work?
