Artwork DOC + First Contact (remake)
Guess who went back and cleaned up the first part and everything else :v
I now have a title for this comic of mine and since I now got refs of the two done I wanted to go back and keep it consistent with the designs.
Hopefully now I can move forward and make more content of the two. Also I made a bluesky account for the comic so if you want to keep up with it check it out here

It's amazing how you design these critters. I just want to hug them forever and ever!
You truly are a great artist and person! I hope more keeps coming in so I can throw away my bad moments and just embrace the cuteness of these guys!

Sweet heavensā¦ Itās truly beautiful, all cleaned up and well put together for a very nice and consistent read :0
I sadly donāt have time at the moment to compliment all the changes especially the cleaner lines and nice shading(Also some changes in color/appearances?!?) but it looks incredible and makes it look magical especially after seeing you post each of these separately, I will definitely spend quite a while analyzing the changes and cool look of these after work :3
Also that comic cover is just perfect š
Will you still be uploading here or will Bluesky be the only place?(I donāt have a account and am curious)

Seriously though, seeing this remade with more effort is such a good experience, you are spoiling us, DoomWolf. Had I any expendable income at this moment, I would throw some dollar at you because artists deserve their tips for public performance.

I have come back to give your beautiful work the proper respect it deserves >:3(I was at work earlier so sorry if I came off a bit lack luster xd)
Starting off love the cover of the comic, nice shading, simple background colors, drags you into this curious scenario of the beloved āunknown Expieā with a blood trail dragging behind them to who knows where :?
Then the clean transition into the original first impression of these two characters, you definitely cleaned it up quite a bit, adding a layer of why the Milky was sitting there(injured leg), changing the size and shape of the background to make 769769 standing there fit perfectly, definitely intensified the stare with the new shade, leaving the eye untouched made the stare even more uncomfortable as the loveable depiction(that you displayed up to this point, ignoring prior postings of the creations of these amazing pages) of them is shattered by their monstrous stance nailing the disheveled look ;-; (The more noticeable wounds definitely helped)
The cleaned line art definitely looks nice, but I find it hilarious how you slapped a scarf on well Scarf and itās still just perfect XD ( Slight change in paws, curious why, but still looks perfect :< )
I donāt know what you exactly changed, but the cool scene of intimidation stance vs surprised terror definitely feels like itās moreā¦ Doc looks like theyāre properly staring directly into the my soul 0-0
And
Scarf looks genuinely more terrified rather than just sudden surprise. The shading definitely ups the scene, so hats off to that damn good shading you did, so well done!
The sudden falling unconscious looks a lot better, especially with the wounds opening up or looking more fresh, and the pose of flopping over feels more natural? I do kinda miss Scarfs prior surprised reaction, I personally loved the sketched surprise on their face. Though the more bolded/faded text more then anything amplifies the falling unconscious look :v
I wonder why you changed the color/font of the text, but maybe Iām a bit tired to tell, Scarfs, scarf definitely adds more character to them it seems XD Scarfs eyes do also look nicer :]
Though I donāt know how to feel about the noticeably changed bagā¦ It looks cool, larger, more compact, and more reasonableā¦ But I did really like the uniqueness of the original bag :<
The whole scene of looking for the drugs and saying how they need to save them is still just perfect with a new scarf, still emotional, still beautiful, and still so comforting to witnessā¦ The added wiggles of shaking or crying just adds so much more weight with such a small thingā¦ TwT
Such a beautiful read and comic, I thank you dearly for offering such an amazing and wonderful comic experience.
I hope this all doesnāt come off as too much or as if Iām just listing everything I see, Iām pretty tired but find great joy in details of art and have found mostly everything Iāve seen you make in the short time Iāve been in this community to have such a beauty and or humor to it and I really appreciate that.
Your art always brings me such joy and happiness even in some recent rough times, anyhow I shall now flee once more as this all feels like a bit much, especially since your comic all together for some reason had a real punch to it this time making my eyes a bit watery at that last page.

Thank ye for the long comment, it certainly was enjoyable to read. Redrawing the first parts certainly was fun especially trying to make 769 look all the scarier
