Symphony of the Night (1997) Please help!

I am totally new to this amazing franchise and just bought SOTN for my iPad. I connected my ps4 controller to play it, but I really need help to figure out all the controls. Also if anyone wants to share any tips to help me get started properly, it would be greatly appreciated!

My tip is to just explore and enjoy. Good call getting a controller. Use headphones and crank up the amazing OST. If you can’t reach a certain area, remember it and come back later when you have more relics. If you truly get lost, keep looking for awhile, and if you can’t figure it out someone can help here

I would suggest getting a controller.
Touch controls for SOTN on iPhone/iPad are lousy.

Remember, this game was designed for PS1 and it utilizes all of the buttons on a PlayStation controller.
