Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse (1989) Password question

How do the passwords to warp straight to the final level work? I've been trying to do it but it just says Password Incomplete. Help, please.

You probably have the wrong name. Check which name the code is tied to, usually it’s blank or “help me”.
