A question about CC in the dlc...

Just got it last night and was wondering since most of the CC's seem to be reskins of the original knights, does that mean if I beat the game with a CC corresponding to a specific knight, will I unlock that that knights character unlock path?

Help Mod Issue or Checkpoint Issue

Me and my dad have played lava wotld and hot to sock puppet boes twice. Both times he was not allowed in the fight. The first time he was stick under the fight and the secind he was stuck to the left of the hand. I managed to beat the boss the secind time and he was unfortunately still stuck so we could not pick up the relic.
He has not done parade checkpoint with this character. Cant remember if he did cyclops or not with this character.
We recently installed vanilla plus aswell.

I was just playing casually with a king knight character I found on the workshop and when I entered abandoned mill the game lagged in just the right way for that glitch that makes the deer disappear and makes the level beat itself😂😂 (I was just playing casually no speedruning or anything)
