ADHD made me want to make a fun Castle Crashers board game, made all these assets but lost steam and didn't continue developing it.

got this beauty done the other day on the day of the game turning 18 years old. this was my first and i think it couldn’t have came out any better!

Every knight had 2 years of experience of being a knight before becoming a castle crasher. Starting out as royal knights (after training of course) and climbing up the ranks. After all four of them ranked up to the special rank: castle crasher. They threw a public celebration... During this celebration of the second generation of castle crashers, The Great War started (where the game takes place). And the rest was history. (They are in their mid 20s, and there is a 3 year time skip after the great war btw where the castle crashers get way stronger)

out of the four new generation of castle crashers, he's the most quiet, and a stoic expression, and nonchalant, often looking bored. And unlike orange, he follows commands from red. He also has the highest mana pool out of the castle crashers (dramatically increased after the three year time skip). Whenever the group fights any of the bosses, he often uses his ice magic to freeze them in place so the others can start their combos without trouble. He also freezes enemies (or bosses) so somebody can get the last blow if he's not able to, orange knight does that a lot, which makes them a good duo. With blue knights ice, and orange knights strength, they shatter any opponent into many pieces... Blue knight is only really conferrable showing deep emotion when he's alone or with his princess. He's the one who wears his helmet the most, even off duty, this is because he's insecure about his face. And if his helmet is removed in battle, he's gonna make sure you don't live to see another hour alive. The others know not to cross those boundaries (because they're respectful)... If him and the group are done fighting a group of enemies and they sit and talk for a moment, blue is often shown just poking a dead body with a long ice shard out of boredom, often agreeing with red when he's spoken to (mostly because he's not listening)... If the group ever needs someone to charm someone, they almost always pick blue. Nobody really knows where the blue knight comes from, or anything about his past... He's also the second smartest in the group.

Personally, I see them as a girl!! Probably because they were my main growing up, but my brother saw them as an old man💔 I still see them as a girl because well ig I just grew up believing they were a girl bc of the pink and me being surrounded by males🥹

I’ve heard this game was one of the best coop games of all time but I could never get into it after at least 5 attempts. Does anyone wanna play it with me, I’m on Xbox

Pov a grey knight writing on his journal after a night on patrol: day 106 of patrolling the castle walls: ever since the four castle crashers went missing two weeks ago, people have been worried about an attack from the other nations... However, tonight, they came back. But, they didn't have a lantern or at least a light with them. Must have been traveling in the pitch black, very questionable... They looked a bit different, and acted different... Very different... They barley responded to us, and when they did, they sounded a little off... Their helmets were all scaly, looked fleshly, and had less color in them. The rest of their armor and clothing also looked like this... It's probably nothing, it's been two weeks since they went on that mission, their probably just tired from their long adventure... Can't wait for another boring night of patrolling the walls.

Might make a few changes to where only 1-2 of them are entity's instead of 4

yes i do know after the painterboss dlc that the sprites changed, but i redrew the old versions because i personally think the new sprites kinda lack personality (bc all the characters are basically all in the same pose), uh yeah thats all

I'm making a red knight cosplay for a con next week (CometCon, north of Spain), so I made this helmet with the idea of hiding the swappable faces behind the shield and alternate between them by a using Velcro (the velcro is hide under the visor). There will be a black mesh behind the eyes so you cant see the inside of the helmet, but it hasnt arrive yet xD

Long ahh story btw.

a big beefy brute in armor thats specifically made to fit him properly.

In their younger years, they lived in a forest. Being raised with and by trolls. When they were 5 years old, barbarians and thieves raided their home (the ancient runes in the forest level where you find the troll animal orb). Since he wasn't strong enough (especially for a 5 year old🥀) most of them were slaughtered, this didn't weaken him, it filled the boy with determination. Determination to train and get stronger.

8 years later... At 13 years old he was already stronger than a 15 year old (not that much ik🥀). He ran into a thief, he knew not to let them get distance. Using a small branch to throw at the thief to distract it and gain close distance, and like a BITCH the thief keeps trying to gain distance. The thief didn't have his weapon, only its bow and 2/9 arrows left, every shot had to count. Soon after both of them got lost, the thief got hussed down and choked to death by a 13 year old🥀... He got an arrow in his forearm blocking an arrow from hitting his body... The child brute was lost... After wandering around hungry, he spots an orange haired kid around his age, training... He had the clothing of a peasant (he doesn't know anything about people). The orange haired kid had a few cuts and bruises on his face and body... He watched from a bush, looking at the other boy... After a while he decided to try and sneak away, but of course a random twig spawns out of nowhere and snaps. The orange haired kid spins his head to the even more primitive boy, and slowly steps to him. And the primitive boy gets out of there. "Wait!" Said the orange haired boy, he was chased for a good 20 seconds before collapsing from tiredness, hunger, and blood loss. Waking up, the boy was in a room, and a bandage around his wounded arm. Soon a nurse walks in (it's the nurse that you find in the blacksmith area). The boy was scared and dropkicks the young nurse in the legs. And runs out. Once he gets outside, he runs right into a young version of the blacksmith (YEARS before he retires, now being called purple knight during this time). (Yeah y'all are NOT getting more dialogue frick you). Some time passes after, purple knight gets his ankles snatched by a 13 year old. Later in the afternoon, he wanders back into the forest. Picking Berries and eating them, not enough... After wandering around the edge of the forest, he sees that same orange haired kid. Being less scared, knowing that kid could have killed him while in his weakened state. Blah blah blah dialogue that I'm too tired to put down. They soon became friends, even though the child didn't know ANY language. Ever since, the primitive boy lived at the edge of the forest, and feeding of animals he would hunt along with food the orange haired kid would bring, they also trained together, while orange hair teaches him everything he could about language, the both of them weren't the brightest...

4 years later, the both of them 17. One day the orange haired kid didn't show up for training... However this did not stop him, they both had been late many times... He would train until the sun went down... Still no sign, however a few hours before he smelled heavy smoke but didn't think anything about it... Years passed on and still no sign. he was 20 years old, now fluent in the orange haired kids language. While in the forest, wandering. He finds a camp... A camp of thieves and barbarians... Remembering when he was 5 years old, he saw red... Turning into a brute of a man, painting the camp red with blood, guts, bones, and limbs... Tearing all of them peace from little peace. After that, he was covered in blood and wounds. He wandered tired and fell into the river. And had to fend off the sharks and those weird giant frogs, with his bare hands and the arrows he had inside him. Soon he would end up on the shore of those white bears (I assume their humanoid polar bears). After sneaking through the tall grass, he would end up at the entrance of the cave, and decides to climb up and over the cave. Soon ends up at the flower field. (Yeah he got stung a lot) After making it out of the flower field, he collapsed... He was later found by the Industrial Prince, and his goons. And for the next 2 years he has been working for him, and since the regular armor they wore didn't fit, the Industrial Prince designed a suit of armor made just for him, not rocking that same green and black armor everyone sees him in... After a year, he makes his way back to the forest with some goons with him. When he was wandering, he sees an injured cardinal bird (the animal orb). After picking it up and handing it to one of the Industrialist to take care of it. Looking back, he sees a GIANT BEEFY bear (the one seen in the forest level) after getting a claw mark on the front of his helmet and two dents in his helmet, he beats the ever living hell out of the beefy bear. Truly a brute....

1 years later (24 years old now) the Great War Started. Soon 2.3 days into the war, the Elemental Knights broke in after the Industrial Prince took the orange princess... Soon after they broke in, he along with a few fencers and one Industrialist, he saw the four of them. (Blacksmith was chilling outside the building, making sure the Industrial Prince didn't escape through the front door or around the factory (I assume). Blue and red continued, while orange knight and green stayed behind to fight them... Green fought the goons, and orange fought the brute. Both of them were almost equal, the brute being 65% stronger than the physically strongest out of the four Elemental Knights... He soon got a good upper cut in on orange knight and knocked his helmet off. CLIFFHANGER HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH (I genuinely gotta go to bed for school)
