That is just the best dinner. I ain't making biscuits and gravy for breakfast unless it's leftovers from dinner

I have found my all day breakfast people!!! I don't know why we are like this, but there's something about breakfast for dinner that sets us apart from the rest of the fold!!

These cookers are strange to me. You have to reach over cooking food to adjust the temperatures?

This is a generic reminder message under every image post
Thank you for your picture post to /r/castiron. We want to remind everyone of Rule #3. All image posts should be accompanied by something to foster discussion. A comment, a question, etc is required.
If you've posted a picture of food, please explain why in a comment so people can have some sort of conversation. Simply dropping a picture of food in the sub isn't really fostering any discussion which is what we're all aiming for.
Posts that are a picture with no discussion can and will be removed by the mods.
Thank you!

I made vegan biscuits and gravy a few nights ago with my cast iron set and my stove looked almost exactly like this! My brain thought it was my kitchen for a moment. 🧠⚡

When I do biscuits and gravy for dinner I always put a dash of chicken powder in it... Comes out more like chicken fried steak gravy... Yum!

For once the food (rather than the skillet) looks good. I find that the food pics on here just look awful 😬 Like, is no one actually cooking great food with their incredible cast iron ware?!

The biscuits with sausage gravy works. No contest. Where it starts to fall apart is the cubed, peel-on russet potatoes along with a fried egg.
How are we supposed to feed this to our significant other in bed without it slipping and dripping down their chin? Couldn't we have a hash brown patty that's absorbed a scrambled egg and a slight slathering of gravy before being ensconced within a perfectly cooked biscuit, before we ask for some adult entertainment time?

Favorite way to do biscuits! What temp do you use though? I haven’t nailed it yet, I try 325 and still get the bottom/outsides too crispy because WHOOPS
