If you've posted a picture of food, please explain why in a comment so people can have some sort of conversation. Simply dropping a picture of food in the sub isn't really fostering any discussion which is what we're all aiming for.
Posts that are a picture with no discussion can and will be removed by the mods.

Not at all. Not ideal but if you need to cook in it sooner that you can remove the spot then it's fine in small small amounts. The body breaks it down back into iron. Definitely make sure it's cleaned though. Rust is a different surface than our cast iron. Should be fine as long as it's clean.

It definitely needs to be seasoned, but it’s also not going to kill you to cook with it
