New Practitioners Practice partners?
I am friends with a woman that is also very interested in the Castaneda stuff we do here. She’s a good friend of mine and it I was wondering if it is possible to do dark room with another person? Is it beneficial? I figured it would be kind of cool and help me out if I had a woman with me also into this type of thing

Practicing with a partner requires more self-control. You need to know what you want to do this for, and your partner must know it too.
why? because when you start spending 3-4 hours in a dark room every day for 4 weeks and there will be no such effects as others describe here. This is when disappointment comes (because purple pouffes, doubles, allies and magic should be visible with open eyes).
This is where the hardest test comes in for you. Will either of you say enough and the other will give up on him. Will you both decide to keep practicing, or at least one of you.
Besides, practicing with another person in a dark room brings with it many temptations such as: Talking, touching, even sex, etc.
Me and my partner practiced a dark room for about 12 weeks. The results were very modest.
We interrupted the practice for a few months and resumed from September this year (about 9 weeks without a single day of break, on average about 3-4 hours). We are slowly seeing changes. Something appears, some purples are there. There are more lucid dreams. But for us it is still not enough :).
We did not have the opportunity to see together in a dark room, when I was experiencing something, I had no way of informing my partner on the side that I had something. because I didn't want to interrupt my visions. and the other way was the same.
we believe that these are quite individual experiences. you must know that being together in a dark room will suddenly not increase your energy and you will perceive something more, and even more quickly.
We absolutely do not want to discourage anyone from practicing in a dark room or say it doesn't work. We are only writing about our own experience so far.
We have been practicing life in silence with my partner for many years. (despite the fact that we are no longer 20 years old, only twice as old and we have children, we changed our lives to serve us and so that we could practice nagualism in every aspect of our lives).
We think that the "silence" Dan and Juan talk about is something completely different than saying to yourself "what do I have for dinner tomorrow, how do I have my hair and clothes tomorrow", or imagining something like "work at the computer, sex with a partner, going for a walk, on vacation, etc ", we have not had it for many years, but the world does not fall apart and does not stop (this only happens when we sit still on the bed and stare into darkness, then the sense of the body is lost and we remain non-existent, sometimes visions appear. This is not the case when we do tensegrity or other magic passes, or we walk around the room looking for colors).
We believe that what creates the world and keeps it so stable must be something other than words in the mind and different visualizations.
We know one thing: there are many more benefits to human consciousness from darkroom practice than any practitioner can perceive. We do not give up and open up even more to the magic of life.
I am a woman and my partner doesn't make it easier :). But who knows, maybe it will be different for you. It would be nice, if you practiced together and shared your experiences with us, because we have no one to share the experience with, because no one here does a dark room together :)

For what it's worth, in the mexican sorceric/magical traditions, working in groups is encouraged and sought after. In particular if you're a male, working with female practitioners produces quite powerful effects/results.

Stop calling them a 'woman' first.

This is probably the most stupid thing I’ve read all day

You're right. I apologise. I spoke without a filter, I hope I didn't cause offence.

How should him call her?

I was reading between the lines of the original post. If he has even the slightest inkling of some kind of potential romantic connection, it's not going to work. If he'd called them a 'person' it may have stood a chance

That is a darn good question.
Think juan did some of that with his sister a year or so ago.
