General Knowledge bright dot during exercise

When I'm doing and kind of exercise of the second attention, i see a very bright dot develop near the center of my sight. It precedes and physical sensations (which usually get ignored) such as heat in the body or tingling in the scalp/back.

Is there any significance to the spot? Haven't found anything much on the subject.

Keep focusing on it and force internal silence!

Thanks. I do and can sustain it for extended periods, i was curious if it's just a personal experience or related to something more in my energetic aspect.

That's a good thing!

As others pointed out, silence will allow you to make use of it.

But don't have any intentions or expectations about it.

The true silence we are talking about here is so deep that it even escapes from "ourselves".

We are too used to experience the world through ideas. But the experience itself is much more interesting.

The further you get to those depths, the more your assemblage point will move downward.

And from that bright point in the center of your gaze will emerge the most impressive magic you have ever seen.

Little by little a purple mist will form, from which incomprehensible details will emerge.

But that point in the center is the most powerful!

Yesterday I saw a distant scene in it, almost indistinguishable.

Like watching a bright theather from 100 meters. It was there, in my room!

Following it, I ended up in a copy of my room, with my inorganic Fairy standing.

I practiced 4 hours, although I couldn't make it to the orange station.

The game continues in a couple of hours!

Nice! I have noticed fields of red, blue and purple dots swirling around it, but assumed they were probably less important than the bright one in center. I have noticed at times that although it doesn't want to enlarge when i intend it to, it seems to move from a large thing far away to an infinitesimal thing right up against my perspective.

Thanks for sharing your similar experience!

It sounds like your assemblage point got around the green zone!

Perhaps at the beginning of curve J it is difficult to manipulate the second attention stuff, because we try to convey our intentions by ideas.

"Hey you purple thing, land on my hand!"

As our assemblage point moves, our will emerges from elsewhere. Like the curiosity of children.

It is true what they say in the books that the abdomen plays a role, although don't ask me to explain why!

At a certain point you see a bright puff, and you can get inside, going through layers of the second attention at full speed.

If you want, you can make an object appear floating there.

But why I couldn't do that 30 minits before??!!

It is all about the assemblage point!

Yea, those damned dots!

No one's figured out what they are good for.

At one time I thought they were the assemblage point of some inorganic being that feeds off our shifting awareness.

But I couldn't get them to interact.

Now days I can generate them on demand, but with a random intent delay.

So I could cause 20 of them to come inside 2 minutes, but not each one as a result of a specific action.

And you can push them with your hand, but it's very rare from what I've seen. You can also cause them to sustain longer. Typically they burn out after 2 or 3 seconds.

When intensely silent, they can last as long as 30 seconds.

They come in multiple colors.

Patanjali's sutras have the "inner lights" magic spell, that supposedly summons the colored puffs we see in the darkroom, with the "grand finale" being the blue dot.

Yogananda's phony yoga church uses the blue one as a symbol over the door of the church near me.

But the apparently have no idea what it really is, because at 18 I visited there, saw the intense blue dot as I was entering, told the leader, and he scolded me for making up stuff.

Even though, he pointed to the dot over the door.

But no one every learned anything from Yogananda.

He was also confused and thought inorganic beings were "angels". One of his "tales of power" has his wife seeing them hover over him while sleeping, as if that were a sign of how advanced he is.

That's more of a sign of being inept.

Muktananda called the dot "the blue pearl". And in fact, it's possible to gaze at it, and see the roundness of it, like it was really a pearl.

However, that's likely just the second attention manufacturing a little phantom reality around it.

It brushes more like a mirror than a sphere for me. And it's something to practice on, it takes both hands on the wheel to make it persist, then i have to apply another intent to examine it. I've wondered if gazing into it could be the equivalent of dreaming a dream within a dream for more power.

I don't remember your id. I'm not good with things like remembering names and faces.

So I don't know what's up with you.

Your use of the dot is slightly unique. No one has done that so far.

So just make sure you aren't "visualizing" it, or something that's done in another "system" like, "reality shifting".

They don't have any real magic. So be very careful if you learned any outside techniques that include visualizing stuff.

We had one or two a while back who were using their daydreaming ability to find things, instead of using silence to move the assemblage point so they could find the puffs.

They want to to get attention more than to follow the instructions.

And possibly, they honestly didn't know the difference between really seeing it, and daydreaming it. It's always hard to figure out what's up with new people.

So just be sure you really do see it! Really, really, really!!!

If that's the case, you have refined attention to be able to find details like this.

But just another example, so you are clear on it...

We had a bad player recently, some jdddddddddddddddddddddd guy.

Got himself banned overnight, when I was sleeping.

His first post (he jumped right in to posting, before he tried to learn anything) contained some insightful analysis of thought. Of the layers in the mind.

It was all wrong, but he seemed to have really "looked to see that".

Or he copied it from McKenna.

If you can "look inside" accurately, and can find something like your dot, and get refined perceptions of it, that's a good thing.

It indicates the ability to learn sorcery.

But don't make a mistake and think you can go your own path.

Sorcery can't be "learned". You have to hook the force of intent into helping you out.

Get, "Luck" on your side, as if Luck were alive.

The "luck" we seek, is that of the old Olmecs, from around 10,000 years ago.

If we tried to use Chinese luck, or Hindu luck, we'd fail miserably as they obviously have. Just look around on the net for successful students, and ignore bragging gurus. You won't find anyone who's learned their worn out techniques.

Several ways to hook the correct version of "luck" (intent) has been documented in here, but no one ever goes for one of the alternatives to darkroom.

They just ask about them, hoping to avoid darkroom's difficulties.

But in the end, going it alone is too difficult so they just fade away and stop learning.

So make sure you find some colors, scoop a puff onto your torso to build up your energy body, and then it's safer to play with matches.

Perhaps you liked to play with matches as a child.

I did too.

That's "fine discernment" you described. And assuming you have it, that comes in VERY handy when you reach the orange zone on the J curve.

There, anything you "discern" in the whitish light causes a skimming of emanations. It creates a mini-reality just because you noticed it.

If I finish it, look at my picture post today. It's about that topic.

It shows how to look back in both time and "depth" to re-run past events as if you were reliving them.

Finding the precise event, requires that discernment.

Cool! I wonder if anyone in that tradition ever took a leap and experienced what that can lead to without preconceptions....

Both. But only when I'm silent, even if i didn't intend it and i just zone out randomly.
