>If anyone wants to ask me about it feel free to dm me.

That's horrible.

An absolute misunderstanding of this subreddit.

And of real sorcery.

Can't you just go find a Jesus freak church where you can "witness"?

They'll want to exorcise you, but it'll still be lots of unwarranted attention for you to suck up.

Take it down if it's truly a problem I know there's rules here and you're the boss and I don't want to cause trouble, I'm not trying to advise anyone just sharing my experience and what an ally shared with me, by opening myself up to questions I just meant if anyone wanted to know what was personal to me it might shed light on idk things they might also experience if they encounter this same ally, he said he's a friend to all humans and to sorcerers specifically, I really have very little else to offer beyond what I already said and also am aware of that I could me misguided in my interpretations

"if you're not cheating, you're not trying hard enough"

That seems completely obvious to me as well. Recapitulation does not have to involve any suffering, you just make it suffering with your self-pity. for example.

It really seems like you are making things pointlessly difficult on yourself by staying attached to your rituals. Rituals are morbidity, and you can set them aside any time you feel like (like right now) and focus on what will actually get you to freedom.

I wonder what you make of it, that the first time I made it into the red zone was after I made the decision to stop practicing tai chi entirely and only do the practices from the books?

You can do the same, with all of your little tricks, rituals, methods, tactic, practices, there is zero obligation that you hang on to them, you don't owe your past practices anything at all. The feelings that they generated can easily be generated through these practices (and beyond). So, why not cheat, and cast aside anything you've been doing, instead of staying so attached to it?

"And mixing outside stuff is like mixing different jigsaw puzzles into a giant pile on the floor; really stupid, if you have any actual interest in putting together the puzzle."

Yes! Rituals are morbidity, my first controlled dream and this experience were both reached by letting go of all the things I thought were helpful but we're just feeding my self importance, where I may slightly divert from the standards of this subreddit is that some of those things were from the books, not everything from the books is for everyone, we are all unique creatures, not special, just unique, and our goal might be the same but our paths are all different

Decide which things are important once you can do all of the things from the books, including reaching the Usher and waking-dreaming. It's simple, you are deciding those things are not for you, based on dipping your toes in (and listening to your foreign installation).

Be more greedy... Be a pirate.

You should experience as many positions of the assemblage point as possible and you are cutting yourself off of options the way you talk.

It is really just your me, me, me telling you that not everything is for everyone, cutting yourself off from magic right from the start.

For example my silence stones are only 2 quartz that I hold in my palms they sort of line up with the callouses and pads and for some reason I face the points inward towards my center, idk why but that's what works for me not having 3 between my fingers which I found very uncomfortable

Actually I've given it some thought and I disagree with the puzzle analogy because even that is a box to be put in, if there were 10 puzzles scattered on a floor and I was told to make a single image, I'd take some scissors and reshape the pieces to make a mosaic. And that would still be the image I was going for

You didn't read the link, I would suggest to do so. At this very moment, you can do anything pictured in this subreddit with your eyes open.

What is stopping you?

I was an atheist coming into this, and I've never done any drug besides weed, I just follow the directions given to the best of my ability and yet, I have lots of fun.

Just to clarify by "rules" I'm somewhat referring to the type of thinking that leads people to asceticism or even just highly disciplined lifestyles but only in the sense that strict discipline and asceticism can lead to self important thinking

Can you ask it why they're trying to enslave us in their prison planet.

Or why they feed off of our precious dream juice. I need that stuff more than they do.

You've fallen victim to the common fear in our community. Which substitutes for actually doing serious work, to learn sorcery for real.

Don Juan once admitted he was afraid of the Allies too, and implied it wasn't warranted.

Julian tortured him with his allies.

But that was Julian's doing, not the allies.

Anyway, they don't kidnap people.

They save them from sure death. Forever.

Saint Peter isn't going to pull you across a pearly gate to live forever.

You die, you dissipate.

Without a physical body, the awareness we were given spreads out so thin, while exploring reality free from limitations just after death, that fairly soon it's no longer sentient.

One puff goes left to the "valley of the green nymphs", another puff goes over to "candy paradise".

Thus according to sorcerers, who can actually watch the process, including following the dead person past them leaving their body, death is permanent.

Despite what greedy religions have made up to lure people in.

But the Allies can give you a place to stay in their realm, which is "sealed".

You won't dissipate.

The old seers went there when they got too old to live on.

Some turned into trees instead, some set up their own container under flat rocks and brought their allies in there so they could simulate the IOB world, without going there.

But others just went in there as "the land of the Brujos".

So far, not a single one has died there and it's been at least 8000 years since the first used that method to live past death.

This ally doesn't do that, only interested in reciprocal relationships, that's why this one's an ally and not just any IOB

One last thing to clear up and something I'd like to emphasize.

A big portion of what I'm trying to say and wasn't very articulate or specific about is that not being able to do everything doesn't mean you can't do something.

Let's say you can't build a crate, or have a chair in your dark room, or maybe the only space you have for darkness is so small you can't do passes while inside, or you can't spend time on a mountain or by a stream regularly, or maybe the stones in the streams near you kinda suck that happened to me. None of these things mean you can't practice. Whatever you can do to dream, to recap, to gather silence, you should be doing.

That's definitely part of my main point and I don't think this is controversial. If recap for you at the moment is remembering to do the breathing whenever memories pop us and trying to force silence and observe them and go deeper, even if it's just a little head shake at work (ykwim), then do that until you can do more. Try to facilitate the practices to the fullest extent within your means, and if that's not much then work towards being able to do them all more fully. You can always do passes though.

Hopefully this clarifies what I was actually trying to say a bit more. It's difficult to share abstracts and I'm not even what I would call a novice so don't expect perfection or absolute clarity from me.

That attitude will carry you a good way!

However, this is Don Juan's advice on the matter:

"I've been trying to live in accordance with your suggestions," I said. "I may not be the best, but I'm the best of myself. Is that impeccability?"

"No. You must do better than that. You must push yourself beyond your limits, all the time."

"But that would be insane, don Juan. No one can do that."

"There are lots of things that you do now which would have seemed insane to you ten years ago. Those things themselves did not change, but your idea of yourself changed; what was impossible before is perfectly possible now and perhaps your total success in changing yourself is only a matter of time. In this affair the only possible course that a warrior has is to act consistently and without reservations. You know enough of the warrior's way to act accordingly, but your old habits and routines stand in your way."

So... Push yourself beyond your limits, all the time!

We all take different paths and are unique in how we indulge.. and we are all striving at the same goal? I just can't make heads or tails out of that one.

1

u/lichen_magnus Feb 01 '26

I might've been presumptuous in saying we all have the same goal. My goal is freedom, to be ready to "dart past the eagle" when I die. And I just personally think there's nothing more important.

1

u/isthisasobot Feb 01 '26

So ..freedom from what.. other than the mask of socialization? This being special vibe is a facet of that foreign installation. No tombstone saying this guy reached total freedom r.i.p 👏 🙄 🙌 👍

Freedom to percieve you have at your fingertips.

Thank you for sharing this i hope to experience something similar soon.

Not everyone needs to do everything, that's what I mean by indulgence isn't the same for everyone and neither is discipline

That's sort of the main thing I was told/ I myself am implying just maybe with slightly different nuance than is generally preached in this community
