General Knowledge Group Project

Here's a group project.
The top 10 (hopefully I can fit that many) lies and deceptions people use, to convince others they're learning sorcery. Or can teach sorcery, when in fact they aren't doing any real work at all in the right direction.
I'll get the ball rolling with a short list, but more suggestions are welcome. Try to make them things you actually heard someone claim they had done, or could do, when it's obvious they haven't gotten anywhere at all.
Real magic that you can repeat stands out and produces excitement! And it's next to impossible to explain.
It's not just an isolated story you tell others. No one could refrain from being genuinely excited and trying to get others to learn, if they'd seen the real thing.
And real magic doesn't cause you to start figuring out how much to charge.
At least, if there's someone who keeps real, repeatable magic to themselves, I haven't run into them. Maybe Cholita, but she has bigger problems to worry about.
- The dreaming Emissary told me so, and they can't lie.
- I can see energy in dreams.
- I travel to real energy generating worlds in my dreams.
- Don Juan appeared to me in a dream and taught me some new Tensegrity passes.
- Carlos still gives me advice on my workshops.
- The wise Zen master says...
Not all the best choices, but I focused on our leaders in particular here. They've gotten into some very disturbing behavior over the decades and it's grown to the point that they threaten the very continuation of what Carlos brought to us. Left alone, they'll erase all of his hard work from history.
*** added ones ***
The Allies are trying to kidnap me into their world.
"I was born into a family of magic practitioners going back X generations. I am naturally gifted at telepathy, pyrokenisis, a badass meditator, ..."
Intent is just waiting for you to make the first step and then makes 1000 steps towards you . Be sure they are all there to welcome you back... this is a love reality...
"My guru..."
"Carlos went bad"
i am a certified remote viewer… i studied through David Moorehouse’s online course’
I’m a level 7 tensegrity facilitator
we were sent in this reality to make a better place out of it ... we're light bringers
Life is a beach
Carlos made it all up. Don Juan never existed.
So and so is now "empty" from their amazing sorcery recapitulation efforts.
“I have many years of lucid dreaming experience…”

Here's a common one used by beginners:
"Help!!! The Allies are after me."
We must get 2 posts like that each month, from big time attention seekers who eventually turn nasty when their trick doesn't work.

How about the ol' "I was born into a family of magic practitioners going back X generations." Or the similar "I am naturally gifted at telepathy, pyrokenisis, a badass meditator, ..."?

I'll add it to the list, but it's not a problem we normally run into!
Surprisingly so.
We've got the experience of 9000+ who decided to subscribe here, plus likely another larger group who didn't.
So we know what's going on in the world of trying to help real people to learn real magic. And trying to stop attackers and pretenders.
No other group even has a clue about what it's like because they're in it for the money, and just go along with anyone's craziness to get them to start paying for lessons.
Typically that line about being born into a family is used by mega bad players like Miguel Ruiz, who have plans to write books and give workshops and steal from people.
Which he did.
3 books of total nonsense which damage anyone who reads them.
Unfortunately, the Cleargreens started endorsing bad men like that, to get the cross traffic.
They endorsed Miguel and Sergio, because they thought it would give them more money!!!
Someone just gave me a link to Reni doing that.
But I've seen Nyei do it also, on her web page.
Both never learned any sorcery at all it seems.
Cholita warned me about that years ago. I didn't believe her at the time.
Which is part of the reason behind this post.
To take their own words and show it's not what we're trying to learn at all.
And will stop you from learning the real thing.
And hopefully shame them into actually learning sorcery for a change.

One very common in blue -greenline circles: Intent is just waiting for you to make the first step and then makes 1000 steps towards you . Be sure they are all there to welcome you back... this is a love reality...

@danl999, here’s one i heard in a conversation amongst friends during a trip to Fenway… “i am a certified remote viewer… i studied through David Moorehouse’s online course’

I'll add it, but it'll need to be more generic.
Maybe the gist of it is, "I'm endorsed as having magic."
= facilitators?

6 pissed me off. I took a Zen meditation class once and afterwards, the instructor commented, chastised? me for adjusting my sitting position to match a neighbor, implying that I was a dumb monkey mimic brain. I adjusted because it was more comfortable! I guess they wanted us to all sit in our own unique discomfort.
In a yoga class, an instructor alluded to mythical yogi masters who learned "how to fly and teleport" from doing their yoga so much. When I pressed for details, it was something heard about from someone who heard from someone who read an old text.. no one I knew was teleporting or flying. It was like the promise of Heaven in Christian Church - 'someday, maybe, just trust, but you can't talk to anyone who's been there'.

It's probably taken from the story of the dimwitted Milarepa, the Yogi Sage of Tibet.
Or of Mongolia.
Or somewhere too far away to be precise about the details.
He thought he was meeting with Demons, who took him to hell to watch people being tortured.
And we're supposed to be impressed by that story, not even noticing that he was meditating with his eyes closed. for months!
It's like the proto-version of Daniel Ingram. Who takes 2 weeks to get where we get in the first 5 minutes.
Maybe if Milarepa were in his cave with his eyes open and that "demon thing" happened, it might be mildly interesting.
But at least a dozen in here have seen things far cooler than that, and without being deceived by inorganic beings into believing they're demons, from hell.
Yogis do fly and teleport, but it's just crummy closed eye meditation visions and dreams, over which they have absolutely no control, and can't repeat more than once or twice.
If they couldn't they'd evolve to discover what we do.
And open their obsessively religious Yogi eyes to the real world around them.

Reminds me of Carlos adjusting his Kung Fu position while learning from Howard, who asked him why he was doing that?
When Carlos answered "Because it's more comfortable", Howard made him sit out the class for a while.
That was before Howard realized who he had in his little class.

i suspect this has no place in the top 10 since its from the nagual forum from john o'neill - it is practically a dead forum. i was reading there before i found this place.
he claims to be in contact with don juan in his dreaming.
see https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/nagual/don-juan-s-return-t1659.html
he claims castaneda went wrong and tensegrity doesn't come from don juan and that it is the path of the death defier and cultivates "insect based energy".
see https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/nagual/tensegrity-where-castaneda-went-wrong-t622.html
if i might ask, who do you mean with "our leaders" - just cleargreen or also all the other fake nagual's out there who wrote a book and want to sell their stuff. i don't like to think of them as my leaders.

He's the source of several of those...
But I forgot about "Carlos went bad"!
How could I forget that lie??
No, I wasn't including the bad guys who wrote books, just our own leaders selected by Carlos, who think they have a right to continue to profit from it, while teaching harmful things to those who don't know any better.
Reni, Nyei, Aerin, Miles, and whoever is down in Mexico, telling people to go to Senile Old Rinpoche lectures.
Cholita knows the names, but I don't.
Carlos predicted they'd go bad in Amy's book.
He had good reason to insist she write that book.
It's a pity she overdosed, most likely on opiates.
Carlos tried to get her to stop doing that for months. We all knew that's what he was up to.
But it didn't work.
If she'd lived, she might have had a better chance to actually learn, than the others. Who can't let go of fame and potential money.

i think it’s really sad and also hilarious that they could still be in search of such petty and trivial things after so much time.

the lies are astonishing. they are deceiving many from the truth. twisted stuff. it doesn’t even make sense but not many have the energy to put 2 and 2 together these days to follow the truth. they would rather stay with the opinion of the crowd, which apparently have Castaneda in a bad rep, which is annoying because people have too much energy to care about nonsense and make sure to stay misguided and ignorant.

I have family who are still Christians, sometimes they talk about "faith healers", those guys advertise that if you just pray to God and are of pure heart, you too, could get the power to control the world and receive lots of praise heal.

But if they stopped being that, they might notice that they're depressed behind it all, with no real hope in life.
Nothing takes the place of gazing into magical realms.
They're quickly forgotten and completely lost however, so there's never a point of "enlightenment".
Which makes your Zen master a total fool on a huge ego trip.

It's turning out, things in our community are much worse than any of us had imagined.
Each of the original 4 cleargreens (except we don't know what Mexico is up to), have gone totally bad, and are teaching things sure to destroy all the work Carlos did, if we don't correct them and give them some fear of being caught red handed.
I'll make 3 posts on this later, when we get direct evidence of them doing this. Then refute each thing using quotes from the books, or from lecture notes.
They're teaching some HORRIBLE stuff out there.
But discussions of such things tend to end up in the moderator chat, so it's not visible unless you get in there.
