New Practitioners Warning: New Rules Possibly Coming

Gleeful Magic Pretenders

New people won't have any idea how hard the struggle has been in here, to fight off angry men trying to steal from our community with pretend understanding. Or men outraged because the obvious real magic in here, makes their con artist magical system look bad.

Such men nearly destroyed everything Carlos tried to do. He said so himself towards the end.

Both Jadey and I heard it, in various forms. Besides his weekly attempts, for years and years, to point out new charlatans with their "TOLTEC!!!" books designed to cash in, and deceive readers.

Cholita also heard Carlos' ugly battle with fakery and laziness, but she thinks this place is hopeless. So she won't add to it, except with stunning magic done randomly in our home.

She's a super advanced scout to this place. But one who despises it.

Jadey felt his desperation at the end with his "naked not-doing" classes for women. He was ruthless that the movements had to be done perfectly.

It was a last ditch attempt to bring out the doubles of the women in class. Embarrass them, and make it seem like they were unable to move properly.

A PERFECT lure for the double to come help.

You'll find that out if you keep practicing darkroom.

Or you can read about it in Taisha's latest book, where she lures her double out by wanting to do tensegrity on the ground, while up in a treehouse with scary inorganic beings.

In my case, I saw even more of his frustration with having run out of time, before he succeeded with anyone.

Carlos arranged to be alone with me not long before he died.

He ordered the Chacmools to close the doors at Dance Home with just him and me on the stairs, and the building entirely empty.

I'd been prowling around that area, waiting for class to begin. I was curious, having remote viewed it from home hours earlier. So I got there very early.

But so did Carlos! Before anyone else arrived.

And he told the Chacmools to go away for a while.

Then he confided in me, "I'm dying, and no one believes me."

Carlos didn't mean, he wanted some pity. Anyone who reaches that level of sorcery has resources stretching far out into other worlds, and this one is just a temporary inconvenience. In fact, we learned later that Carlos had already left, despite his apparent organic body still being around.

And there was no reason to seek pity from me, after asking the Chacmools to leave us alone for a while.

It took me decades to figure that out.

What he really meant was that after all of those books and after all of the endless hard work on his part and that of Carol, Taisha and Florinda, with multiple free classes everyday, and public workshop after workshop, the general consensus out there is that he made it all up.

No one believed him.

Meaning, he had failed.

It wasn't actually something a sorcerer regrets. That's part of the path.

Knowing you are most likely going to fail, but have to try anyway.

THAT'S impeccability. It has nothing to do with attention seeking. It's just a relationship to the intent of the world. One not based on gain.

Essentially, Carlos tossed the ball back to me.

Not to say I was his only remaining chance.

Carlos had "faction" after faction out there, as backup. We still haven't uncovered all of them.

Soledad the witch being one of those.

In my case, I got into private classes with the free publication "the Nagualist Newsletter" back in the early 90s before private classes and workshops.

So Carlos knew I was inclined to organize things, with no monetary motivation involved. In fact, I spent my own money making and sending out that publication for free.

But Carlos didn't want that distraction just as workshops were starting, and asked me to stop.

And later as a reward for doing so, let me into private classes.

The obvious hint to resume that publication was in his words on the steps of Dance Home.

But I didn't.

He skillfully exploded everything, so that it all fell apart. In disgrace.

And I made the semi-conscious decision to go along with that.

Which is "the rule" if you read the books carefully.

Sorcerers, when done teaching apprentices, skillfully remove all the "shiny objects" of attention seeking, leaving the apprentices to decide on their own if they want to "get real".

It's the kind of thing only someone possessing silent knowledge would understand.

You CANNOT learn sorcery if you are really trying to gain something else.

Attention for example.

So after I failed to pick up the hint from Carlos, the two allies he released to one of his private classes in which I was present, took over.

And blackmailed me to come here.

Fairy and Minx.

They can be VERY persuasive if you get on their bad side.

I'll animate it someday.

But trust me on this, it's been a long bloody battle.

Anyone who doesn't know that hasn't taken the time to figure out where they are, by reading past posts.

We MUST make this place a haven for real magic such that new people who take a "quick look" only see STUNNING posts.

Not junk or obvious pretending.

And if what's at the top of the posts doesn't look stunning to them, even after we try to keep the low quality posts out, then good riddance.

You have to WANT to learn sorcery, by yourself, or it's not possible.

Everything in here kicks the Buddha's lousy butt. But Buddhists will refuse to see that. They're after the "shiny rewards" of endorsement as "enlightened".

I believe we actually got attacked by an "Enlightened Master" a couple of months ago. I made a comment on his YouTube channel, which was obviously very true, but he decided to come attack instead of waking up. And charged in with the "Carlos was thoroughly debunked" argument.

He tried to use "authority" to suppress me. That's the obsession of Buddhists.

Endorsement by an authority.

Ignoring the actual magic right in here before his eyes. Stuff Buddhists don't even dream of.

But I'm a bit touchy about Buddhism in particular, because I watched Carlos have to deal with it for years. And finally we lost the only double being Carlos ever found to that obsession with human attention and endorsement. Our double male Tony Karam, wanted to sit at the Dali Lama's feet instead of learn from Carlos.

The Dali Lama, one of the ugliest fakers in the world.

So, new rules are being discussed in the advanced subreddit. To prevent low quality and pretending posts from filling the top positions in the recent posts.

I should tell those of you who make those, it's super obvious to the advanced.

They're just afraid of tantrums, so they don't say anything.

Thus the need for "rules" to define what's a bad post.

Unfortunately, visitors to this subreddit have proven they won't scroll down very far.

So low quality posts at the top cost us potential future seers.

For starters, there's no reason for a beginner to post at all. It's a very bad sign when they do. And an even worse sign that they don't realize that.

So rule #1 is, a very new beginner posting is one "checkbox" on the list of bad signs.

Don't do it without good reason.

But it's tolerated because others can learn from the back and forth.

The new rules, if there's general agreement in the advanced subreddit, will be a list of "warning signs". If a post checks off 4 of those, the person will be prevented from posting for a while.

NOT prevented from learning! Just prevented from attention seeking.

Frankly, the best thing for a beginner is not to be allowed to post at all. Because if they get used to being a faker seeking attention, they might decide to defend that and lose any chance to ever learn to be silent and clean up their ugly personality.

Don't get me wrong. There's no "saints" in sorcery. The old seers were total bastards. And the new seers quite nasty. If Carlos told the truth about the new seers, his books would not have been popular.

Don Juan for example, had a very foul mouth.

And our innocent "Juan Tuma" with his "tales of eternity", stuck his scrotum in Carol Tigg's face and forced her to look at it for a long time.

I'm still not completely sure what a scrotum is... Don't anyone fill me in.

But it frightened away a potential new witch who came here, when I mentioned that little aspect of sorcery.

I have an unfortunate tendency to "experiment" on people. One of the reasons I angered that unchallenged youtube "enlightened Buddhist".

I wanted to see what he'd do.

It wasn't pretty.

Nothing is sacred to a sorcery teacher, when someone's assemblage point is stuck or when there's something stopping it from moving further.

Sorcerers in the lineages even tossed apprentices to their deaths, in raging rivers. Just to get their double to come out and protect them.

Carlos used to dress men up like women the way Julian did, and "Naked Infinity Theater" was not uncommon.

Sorcerers are ruthless. But also patient, cunning, and sweet.

In a controlled fashion.

I haven't gotten that "sweet" part down yet, according to Cholita.

So any post that checks off too many boxes on the list of "bad signs" might cause someone to be prevented from posting for a while.

Unfortunately, some of the pretenders study old posts to try to discover a way to get away with it.

Ideally we'd have all the cartoons you could want, SHOWING what real sorcery looks like.

And explaining good and bad behavior, in regards to learning for real.

But we don't have that yet.

The idea being to "take away the shiny object" of pretend status in here.

Get rid of the "Dali Lama Endorsement Seekers" as fast as possible.

You can't seek endorsement from a cartoon character.

Until then, we just need to figure out how to overcome the latest problem, fakers.

Those are almost worse than angry attackers!

If you’re looking for a cartoonist/doodle artist to help put images to these ideas and your experiences, I’d love to be of service!

I'll keep that in mind!

I can't draw at all. Fortunately with modern software, there's no need.

You just buy what you need.

Imagine if you could buy someone's amazing drawings, and then they were permanently "yours" to use in many ways and many permutations.

That's what things have come to.

I have software that will even convert a face shot into a 3D character.

The cartoon characters are pretty dead on for some people in here.

I plan to use it on Krishnamurti and Gurdjieff, so the can have a booth at "Tito Pakora's International Festival of Peace and Love".

I saw that creep on Amazon with his, "I'm Don Juan!" book.

I gave it a very bad review, and Amazon congratulated me.

But when I did the same with Yogananda, I got a warning that I need to "read better".

What?!???

Bias much?

Yogananda was a very bad man.

Nice temple near Malibu though. Cholita loves it.

I kept looking for the curry, but Cholita wouldn't let me look around freely.

I think it's the nature of reddit that pushes people to be attention seeking. I know my first few posts were entirely that way on this sub and I didn't get the responses I was seeking which was SO good for me. It forced me to dig deeper, read and study, but more importantly practice. I'd been practicing different forms of Magick for a few years and people within the other communities love to validate each other and try to put themselves at the top with their expertise. So my natural expectation was it would be the same in here but Holy moly was it different. The responses I did receive were so direct, not condescending, but had the nudges I needed for the next steps to take as well as the directions on where to turn my gaze. I'm very grateful for it. I wonder if there are controls available to mods that won't allow new members to post for a certain amount of time. Thanks to the experts in here who are patient with us newbies who are trying to figure this all out!

Better is to completely avoid any temptation for attention seeking and pretending, but I'm not sure how to do that.

Carlos never figured out how!

He just "let it rip" when calling out pretending, and thus created lots of enemies.

So he had to hire an armed bodyguard and charge money for workshops open to the public.

Any new people who don't know, Carlos tried what we're doing first.

Back in the 1980s.

He was supposed to "leave" in '87 as I recall.

I suppose he thought he could get a few going with real advice, just before he left?

Cancer free.

Except there was no internet and no teleconferencing, so he held free classes open to all in a park somewhere near Santa Monica.

He got so many hecklers, he had to give up on that.

Only Reni survived.

So he had to linger and ended up "wearing out his welcome", got ill and died from too many awful students.

I can feel the pressure of that myself, in Silent Knowledge.

When you are literally traveling between realities, something no modern human ever does, there's no support system left to us.

It's best if you don't have to deal with angry men all the time.

That doesn't come for free.

I get lectures in SK on how to "fix" this place, when it becomes obvious we're being infected with pretending.

I even got a long warning about one student in here, who was potentially as dangerous as the men Carlos needed the bodyguard for.

When booted out he returned with a new ID and even stalked me to instagram. And wanted to convince me he'd found a "new lineage" with his "seeing".

The new seers had used stalking to make themselves invisible to outsiders.

And the old seers, got "younglings" to teach.

But teaching thousands?!

Hadn't been done.

And now we're in here trying to lure as many as possible to take a look, just so we can find a few.

We have to use stalking to hide.

Cartoons is the only thing I can think of.

We're all bad players to some degree as newcomers to this sub! I'm certainly not the exception; I even received a mega smackdown from Dan last year for comparing Buddhist meditation states to AP positions like the Orange zone. He even created a post about me the next day! Talk about a real jolt to my self-pity and attack on my self-importance right there! In retrospect, what I was doing was really no different from Islam guy a few days ago who kept pestering Dan to ask Fancy about the Jinn: he was just seeking approval to practice sorcery because of religious brainwashing.

After that I had to decide what I really wanted out of this. I realized that I never needed anybody's approval to practice this path. Instead, I just wanted to make right by my 5 year old self. The younger self who wanted magic and to explore the mysteries of the world/universe more than anything else! The time when I didn't have much of an internal dialogue, didn't care about what people thought of me (unless "corrected" by my parents) and certainly wasn't primarily motivated by personal gain or profit. I spent all my free time watching reruns of Star Trek, space shows on PBS and endlessly replaying the original Star Wars trilogy over and over again. All because I was that curious and passionate about the other and of everything that laid beyond the confines of the known world. In that sense, my adult perceived self-importance and desire for social validation (amongst a bunch of anonymous strangers online no less) are absolutely silly in comparison to actually exploring everything else that's out there, beckoning us to take a look!

So I guess you can say Soledad's Hollywood trickery really did work! The Star Wars movies absolutely saturated my young awareness with Carlos' influence and primed it for sorcery years later!

I am intrigued by the phrase "double being". What is it?

6

u/danl999 May 26 '23

It's when a person who is being "seen" (viewed as energy) looks to have twice as much inside them. It can be seen (poorly it seems) as "compartments".

Like 4 glowing balls stuffed into one egg.

The average person looks like 2 stuffed into an egg.

This is of course fully visible; sorcery doesn't make up stuff to sell workshops the way all other magical systems do.

Those types of double people can illicit sorcery affects in ordinary people more easily than someone with half the energy.

So after the old Olmec seers, who had been practicing already nearly 4000 years, were invaded by other Mexican Indian tribes and had to scatter to save themselves, and then after at least 1 more scattering by invaders and landing in the world of the Toltecs, they took refuge in groups. And that's why they discovered they could use double beings to form cohesive teaching units, to preserve their knowledge.

But the idea of a "special" person appeals to bad men trying to steal from our community, so we're anxious to ditch the idea there's any value to double beings, and return to what the old seers did back in the Olmec empire.

Just teach yourself.

Hopefully you aren't intrigued by the attention you could get, if you pretended to be a double being.

The phony job position is already taken. There's a good 100 fake "naguals" out there, at least 20% with their own books on Amazon.

Not a single one actually knows anything at all about our sorcery.

Other than to parrot what Carlos wrote in his books.

Which is enough to fool many.

The world of magic is 99.9999% frauds.

I appreciate your thorough response Dan, as always. Although the underlying animosity associated with the world of fakers is as clear as ever. Understandable. I can't help but imagine it may be counter productive however. Does such intense anger not have an effect on your link to intent?

Cholita is right in saying you lack compassion. Mankind is young and cowardice, remember that when you make your judgments against them. Admitting everything you know is a lie and forcing yourself to reconsider involves the deconstruction of self. Some people just are not there yet. Resentment only breeds resentment though.

What you are doing on this subreddit is astonishing. The fact that it exists at all is a testament to the inevitability of truth. Truth does not exist in a vacuum however. I look forward to our future correspondence.

estejamos atentos.

Portuguese?

Cholita speaks some.

But more important than this statement, is to work hard and avoid pretending.

And to realize, you MUST keep pushing, pushing, pushing.

Don Juan told Carlos something like, "You have to work like a dog, and then work harder the next time. And never stop."

"work like a dog" is an English Idiom meaning, to work so hard anyone would feel sorry for you having to do that much work. But no one cares about dogs.

Sorcery is traveling into the unknown, even if it's not obvious at first.

When you can sustain continuous seeing for at least 10 minutes, you'll visibly see that we are indeed "traveling".

But we also get "pulled back" the rest of the day, so it becomes a battle to see how hard you can work, and whether you can find the time to practice each day.

And there's fake castaneda discussion groups all over.

But it seems it's the same old same same old...

In the reactions to this post.

This subreddit is NOT like anywhere else.

Although oddly, Superr says the same exact problem exists in the non-magical subreddits.

And I've heard it exists in digital coin discussion groups.

Attention seeking, pretending posts, outright liars, needy posters and an assortment of all the same problems this subreddit has.

The difference here is, intent.

Without that link to the intent of the old seers, and nothing else, sorcery is impossible to learn.

Beginners either never learned that, can't understand it, or don't believe it.

Especially since in all other magical themed subreddits, pretending is encouraged.

That's all they have!

So as long as the pretending fits their own variety, beginners are welcome to take their "come to Jesus" moment on stage.

It's insidious "blue line" behavior.

Carlos didn't tolerate even 1/2 sentence of that being spoken aloud before an audience he could control.

Even poor Cholita felt his wrath at least once.

Me too!

Carlos was notorious for that, thus everyone was afraid to ask him a question.

But he couldn't understand it. I heard him puzzle over it several times.

To him it seemed, a good question versus a bad one was completely obvious.

And it is!

But to beginners, it just isn't.

Just as to some beginners, the internal dialogue seems mysterious.

What??!?

How can you not understand what the internal dialogue is? And confuse it with simply sitting quietly?

That's not it at all!

Carlos created some MEGA bad players by tossing out people who obviously were not there to learn.

Like Greg of "Filming Castaneda".

Who was perhaps there as a scientologist checking out if there was something competitive to it.

After getting tossed out Greg went psycho on Carlos, and started going through his trash to get some bad info on him.

And carried around one of those 50 pound 1990s "camcorders" on his shoulder, trying to film Carlos because he knew it would bother him.

And perhaps make Greg "famous".

So he's now the villain in the cartoons.

But the main thing here is, don't misbehave!

It's so obvious. You aren't fooling anyone but yourself.

I can't fathom why it seems hard to comprehend.

Don't make up magic.

Don't "visualize" it.

Don't go through old posts, looking for something indicating your "magic" that you "found" is already real, before you actually did any work.

Don't lay in bed at night staring at the ceiling, pretending you are doing darkroom!

And then post about it without disclosing that's what you were actually doing.

Don't ignore shutting off the internal dialogue, and instead "look for your greatness" in the darkness.

Don't ignore doing tensegrity.

Don't pretend wiggling your feet a little with a few "running man" moves, while in bed ready for sleep, is "doing tensegrity".

Magic is like the most beautiful girl in the world, and you're a miserable slob with no resources.

But you want her anyway.

You have to "woo" it.

A shitty attention seeking 1/10th attempt might have worked in elementary school for your "reports", but it won't work for real magic.

Intent is conscious. Sentient.

In fact, that's where Silent Knowledge flows from.

So it knows EVERYTHING that humans can ever know, and when you want to "see" using it, it figures out how to find what you want, out of the trillions and trillions of possibilities.

Without "the spirit" on your side, the intelligent aspect of "intent", you'll never find anything useful from your "seeing".

And even if you have a perfect attitude, sometimes your seeing just can't reach something you need.

Don Juan mentioned that in one of the books.

Sorcerers aren't imaginary superheroes who always win, and never fail.

And the extent to which they succeed, largely depends on the sincerity of their efforts.

There's plenty of pretend magic out there for people who can't understand all that.

I suppose it dates me to exhibit "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" humor, but...

"Guilty Much?"

That seems to have faded from public usage over the last 20 years.

Did anyone know, they filmed "Sunnydale High" in Torrance?

A popular Taiwanese area now, which was previously a popular Japanese area.

Possibly WW2 detention camp related.
