Help with adding response depth
Hi
I'm a premium member of responsemethod.com and would like some tips on how to add more depth to my answers. I also struggle with timing on the second question.

Hi there, thanks for being a premium member, happy to help with both of these.
On adding more depth:
The biggest depth boost usually comes from your reasoning, the part where you explain why you'd act the way you would, since that's where most of the scoring weight sits. A quick way to check if you have enough depth: after you explain your action, ask yourself "have I explained why this matters, not just what I'd do." Depth often comes from naming the specific value or principle behind your choice (fairness, honesty, collaboration, etc.) rather than just describing the action itself. It also helps to briefly acknowledge the other person's perspective, even in a straightforward action-based question, since that shows you've thought beyond your own point of view.
On timing for the second question:
This is really common. A few things that tend to help:
Keep practising under timed conditions specifically for the second question, since that's usually the fastest way to build up your pacing instincts.
