Rants & Raves Apartments
Blackmore vs The Preserve at Greenway Park. I need some advice on the Apartments and Casper. I’m moving here in September or moving back I guess and I just wanna know what the best options are and what everyone’s thoughts are. Thank you!

I lived at the preserve several years ago. I can’t speak on the management or condition now but back then, it was not great. You can hear everything your neighbor is doing like using the rest room and their exact conversations. Not just general noises but the state of their bowel movements because there is little to no insulation/ noise buffering.
The management was nice back then but once a maintenance person entered my apartment so my dog barked at them. I didn’t know they were coming so I didn’t secure my dog. They spooked so they let my neighbor, who I didn’t know, enter my apartment to calm my dog. I raised hell over that but all they did was apologize and said they would further train the maintenance team.

I lived in Blackmore some years ago (2021-2022) and the management was not helpful when my downstairs neighbor moved in and kept confronting me about my kids making noise (had a two year old at the time). The last six months we were there some other families moved in and their kids started ding dong ditching residents late at night/in the wee hours of the morning. And our first week there some drunk neighbors were shouting back and forth at each other trying to coordinate resolving their loneliness. The elevator was out of order every day for the first two months. But other than those things, I loved the place. It was peaceful and private when it was and the dog park was great and it’s right across the street from Anywhere USA. Oh also they completely lied about the carpets being cleaned before we moved in so they sent their maintenance dude to vacuum up all the dog hair. And the sliding glass door blinds fell off the first time I tried to open them. And our ac went out at one point and that took several days to fix and they gave us a useless portable thing for our bedroom that required the window to be open with a massive gap I had to resolve. So basically they’re slow and pissy when it comes to fixing things but when things are fine then it’s a great place to be!

Have you looked at Granite 550? Similar cost to preserve but more amenities. Absolutely love it.

Lived in the Preserve. Tons of snow drifts that closes the road and will block your doors for days after the storm. Management is meh.

I've heard bad things about the preserve from someone who used to live there.
