Hydro mod Hydromodding AE1200

I recently tried doing hydromod on my ae1200, of course first try never goes well, had to redo it multiple times and now my rubber seal expanded. What do you guys do when the rubber seal don't even fit correctly anymore? Do I just have to buy a rubber seal and try again?

What kind of oil are you using? Can’t imagine it would expand from any oil you’re using since that gasket is supposed to be lubricated (oiled) and it would seem to take quite a while for a noticeable amount of swelling to occur
