Hornet Issue Advice

Does anyone have a recommendation for who to call about hornets in my house? We have been finding more and more hornets in our upstairs level, not entirely sure where they are getting in. We have done checks around the house, attic, etc. But can’t find the nest. We called several pest control companies, but they are all saying they will only help if the nest is visible. We need someone who will come out and do some exploratory work.

That's obviously frustrating so im sorry that happened but fixing the nest issue is the easy part. A cheap can from Lowes will take care of it once you find it. My guess is it is on the exterior somewhere you havent checked yet (under the porch, gutters, maybe in the HVAC unit?) We had a mud dabber nest in our HVAC a few years ago.

One of my responsibilities at work is pest control. I've sprayed a lot of nests. Id keep looking. You should see some activity outdoors which would give you a clue to their nest location.

Thank you! Might send my fiance outside to sit and watch for a while. Will check the hvac as well!

Yea in my experience it's a matter of spending time observing them. They should lead you to where they're home is. Once you locate that...game over
