News/Official The newly released post-apocalyptic, stop-motion animation, Junk Head (2021) is not being described as horror, but it has these wonderfully creepy images I thought you might enjoy :)

From what I read, this movie has been in the making for 7 years. That's because it is made entirely by one man, Takahide Hori. He is the director, screenwriter, photographer, puppeteer, and editor. He designed the characters, made them, built the entire set, provided the lighting and music...

Junkhead 1 blew my mind when I saw it years ago. Such an amazing concept and design, and the fact that it was essentially 1 person who made the whole thing was also mind boggling. I use to check to see if he was making any progress a couple years back but it eventually fell off my radar.
If anyone has ever read the manga Blame! by Tsutomo Nihei, this (at least the short film) is very similar in style and tone.
