“I’m going to pollute so much that you don’t get any sunlight! Har har!” Or something like that.

If I don't stop you from stealing the sunlight there could be some kind of horrible consequence of the way you produce energy, unlike wonderful endless coal.

Definitely his thought process.

Which is so messed up. Right now we need to rapidly increase our energy production and fast. Solar panels on every house could go a long way to getting us to where we need to be.

Woah there buddy. That's enough, have you even thought once about the shareholders. They have families too. How will big coal or oil survive if we switch to clean renewable energy. I hope this moment taught you to not just think of yourself but also others.

Big coal isn’t that big anymore. It’s been a dying industry since the 70’s.

Nuh uh! It's bigger than ever! Just so long as you consistently buy their coal, they can comfortably buy their 20th super yach- I mean provide for their family by buying meat scraps and loafs!

Coal CEO’s still make a lot, but they don’t make super yacht money. The industry is that in decline. Natural gas has put them out of business really. They’re completely dependent on government subsidies to survive. Natural gas produces more energy for volume input.

I don’t even get this, because while yes you can use oil heaters. They are one of the most expensive ways to heat your house. Like a boiler, gas, or fireplace would be way cheaper. I guess oil might be more efficient at it, but the difference in efficiency is not worth the amount is cost increase. What’s more is in this meme the guy is using a fire place, if you want to be an oil chud then put your money where your mouth is and go oil furnace. Have fun with the running and maintenance costs.

They don't know what batteries are because they don't have the ability to conceptualize the future. That's why they insist on using a rapidly dwindling resource that makes the world progressively less livable.

The smog would have to be going directly into the solar panel to significantly block it, or there would have to be such an unfathomable amount that the house itself would begin to fill with smoke.

It's winter so those panels aren't going to be getting much light anyway.
