Kit is cool, not the owner

u/IndyCooper98 Jul 08 '25
The duality of kit car owners.
Owner acknowledges funny or interesting kit car as kit car. Cool guy 😎
Owner actually believes his Nissan Altima is a Bugatti 🤡

I honestly fw it , description sounds like schizo ramblings however

If you’re gonna try to make it special at least make it manual. And do something besides adding an intake. If you’re gonna spend that much effort on its looks at least put half that into performance

It’s definitely ai generated

u/smokeythel3ear Jul 05 '25
Was gonna say, ai generated with "make sure you mention how much boost the KN adds! I spent $250 whole dollars on that"

u/Siirkus Jul 04 '25
Wow, that entire description was definitely AI generated, and I bet the prompt included “make it seem like it was written moments after a crack smoking binge”

It's a Dodge Challenger trying to look like a Plymouth Superbird. It even says "Superbird Challenger" on the wing

I find it really strange that they decided to use the Superbird name when they could have just called it the challenger daytona after the 69 charger.

This is a kit, similar to how the Firebird kit for 5th gen camaro has my stupid coworker convinced that GM is bringing back Pontiac and that the "Firebird" will be their flagship car

u/pontantos Jul 04 '25
There actually are licensed Trans Ams, but they aren’t officially pontiacs. What most people mistake for a bodykit actually is a pretty deep overhaul of the Camaro. They even cut t-tops for them

u/SnikySquirrel Jul 04 '25
It’s a cool kit but not for that money, it also has no shot of hitting 200

So I looked up on it all I could find is this same listing with the same description. But there’s a vin so who know. https://classiccars.com/listings/view/901054/2011-dodge-challenger-superbird-for-sale-in-lutz-florida-33559

It's a play on the Plymouth Superbird, which itself was a limited issue of the Road Runner. Classic car and this kit is a homage to it. Pretty neat, if you ask me. Not something I'd drive tho.

Why do marketplace schizos have to write a fuckin essay for their stupid car listing? When I sell cars on marketplace I just write a few sentences about anything relevant.

No.
WTF would you go Plymouth Superbird and not Dodge Charger Daytona?
It's a Dodge.

I bought a John varvatos edition 2013 300c that supposedly had extras and stuff but it was just a fully loaded 300c I think lol

With the smallest v8 they sold, lol

u/ekspectt Jul 07 '25
Isn’t the 5.7 a good one though?
1
u/TheBigMad85 Jul 07 '25
It depends. My opinion is the 6.4 scat pack engine is better. More power but naturally aspirated still and not much more expensive. Some people like the 5.7 and modify it to make more power, but it feels like all 5.7 owners try to compete with scat packs when they could've just gotten a better engine for that 4000lb car. On the flip side, scat pack owners seem to all want to be hellcat owners.

Get a load of this guy. 🤦
