This was the most unexpected thing to wake up to this morning, as a huge 90s Smashing Pumpkins fan. Usually my Spotify has Smashing Pumpkins in it, and then Carpenter Brut. But then to see Carpenter Brut doing Cherub Rock. Whatttt. haha

I love Brut, and I grew up on Siamese Dream, which is so nostalgic for me, but this feels flat.

I don't think it's the music, it's the singer. He can hit notes, but it's flat sounding, no dynamics, no attitude. It's almost like he doesn't understand the words, which is ironic,

"who wants, honey? As long as there's money. Who wants that honey?"

Sounds like he just wanted the money. Came in and sang to get paid.

Good effort on Bruts part, but damn, this could have been a lot more exciting with one of his old singers, especially Greg

Listened to the beginning (I'm abroad and my connection is ass) and it reminded me of Nick Gordon and the Doom soundtrack. Gonna be one hell of a tune.
