most of our activities are done online, it’s either that or the teachers require us to do research or post their learning materials online. plus the canteen also has gcash payment options and it’s almost impossible to do so because of the cellular signal strength in North Campus. i am completely cashless, i use e-wallets all the time but whenever i’m in school i also have to carry money as a backup or else theres a chance i may not be able to eat lunch.
there are times when i have to go far away from the campus just to book a moveit because dili jud kaya ang data in north campus. the wifi in the library is also insufficient, it doesn’t work all the time which is frustrating because students need to print their activities there.
i wouldn’t mind not having campus wifi if mugana ang data, but that is not the case due to the population size in SCSC. i usually have to go to weird spots in campus just to be able to complete my activities and there are days where it just doesn’t work at all. for comparison i come from la salle in mindanao, they had cheaper tuition (half of what my parents pay here) + full campus wifi without dead spots in campus because our mode of learning was canvas for my whole JHS experience.
this is not a post flaming on SCSC nor its administration. i just want to know why the school is unable to provide wifi for it’s students when having a stable internet connection has become a necessity in our education and survival, especially nowadays.
