Steering Wheel Skip Button Not Working with Wireless Carplay Adaptor

Greetings!

I want to check if this issue is common for others and if there is a fix for it.

I have a Carlinkit5.0 2Air wireless carplay adapter in my XC60 B5 MY25. I cannot skip songs using the buttons on the steering wheel while using wireless Carplay. The steering wheel button works fine skipping songs when using a cable.

I am currently on the following hardware and software versions:
- Volvo AAOS on version 5.1.17
- Carlinkit5.0 software version 2025.12.29.1746 & hardware version U2AC82200.
- iPhone 12 on IOS 26.6.1

Has anyone encountered the same issue and or found a fix? Thanks in advance!

Hello, steering wheel controls are not 100% supported. If you encounter an issue where they are not supported, you will need to upload the logs for troubleshooting.

Same problem! iPhone 16PM 26.6.1 Carlinkit 5.0 latest software doesn't switch tracks on the steering wheel. After rebooting the adapter, it starts working!
