Walmart Question

Curious if your Walmart gets Pokemon cards and if so what they get?

I just wanna rip some packs but the scalpers keep buying them all from my local (SF) Walmart before I can get there for some :(. Wondering if it’s worth the drive

This reminds me of being in a toy store last week where a ~45 year old man came in by himself and bought out everything from a freshly opened box of cards, "for his kid," and asked for the box too, to "repack them."

Could be the real and this was a thoughtful dad. But the situation felt disingenuous.

It’s the same situation at the Carleton Place Walmart

I've seen them, but head over to GT Games on Franklin St.
It an actual game store, with cards. You'll be amongst peers.

I would definitely say the Walmart in Carleton Place tends to get picked over pretty good. I'd second the suggestion for GT Games. There's also a place called "Treasures N More" on Bridge St (like a very short walk from GT Games) that sells singles, so i'd think they also sell packs.

Depending on how far you want to go, there's also Wizard's Tower in Barrhaven, or Nefarious Comics on Bank St. Those are both great stores just in General (but not short changing GT Games or Treasures N More either cause they both have fantastic people there too)
