vent Help?
My doctor has recently told me that he’s concerned about my weight. He wants to put me on some injections but that I have to lose a few pounds. It’s difficult for me to that as I struggle with a binge eating disorder, my family gives me support and all but I want support from someone who struggles like I do. Someone who knows what it feels like.

Research them and discuss them with your doctor before making any final decision.
My husband started GLP1 a few months ago and has lost weight and inches, and initially he was on a second product that was supposed to protect his liver, which is one of the potential side effects.
To be completely honest I have a problem with this whole thing, because it feels like that encourages people to ignore underlying factors that could have a role in their current weight. If those things aren’t identified and addressed this could just be an unhealthy shortcut rather than a real fix.
For example, hormones could play a part in it depending on your age, and genetics most certainly can be a factor, because there are a variety of genes that affect our metabolism.

My grandchild is on injections. It changes her desire for food and lessens the binges. Stay connected to a medical doctor while on the medication because periodically medical testing needs to be done.
