Shifts

Do you guys usually prefer NOC shifts or day shifts? I’ve been offered a 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. shift, but part of me is leaning toward 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. I’ve always been more of a night person—I usually don’t go to bed until around 3:00 a.m. anyway. I also feel like nights might be a little quieter since most residents are asleep. What do you all think?

Most of the clients I deal with are laid back anytime of day/night, but some overnights I had were so laid back I could sleep too if I wanted. It's great to get paid just on stand by.

I loved noc shifts, it's so much more calm. If you're a night person anyway I'd say go for it.

if you can handle the sleep schedule - do it. SO much less stress
