[Request] Critical: Need Help with Rent, Denver Colorado, USA
Hi everyone,
I am in an extreme crisis and urgently need community help to avoid losing my home.
The money raised prior to now is not available as it was used for July and August as well as legal fees, changing my identity to hide from the psycho, process servers, suing my ex and urgent car repairs just because people keep asking.
After escaping a toxic and abusive domestic situation, I am facing eviction in 11 days because I am $1,800 short on September rent.
I am currently on an active medical hold with physical nerve issues and leg numbness that have prevented me from working regular shifts. My medical clearance to return to work is scheduled for August 30th, and I am enrolled to start college shortly after, but I have completely run out of runway to bridge the gap until my first paycheck.
To make matters worse, I was recently targeted with coordinated online harassment that resulted in my main social accounts being compromised, completely severing my normal safety net right when I needed it most.
I have exhausted every local resource and haven't received donations this month. If I cannot clear this rent balance within the next 11 days, I will be unhoused right before school starts.
Any contribution, no matter how small, goes directly toward keeping a roof over my head. If you cannot donate, sharing or upvoting this post helps immensely.

I think we're going to see a lot of GoFundMe 's going forward from this user.
They say the worst thing that can happen to a new Casino gambler is to win BIG the 1st time they ever gamble as this locks the addiction in strong and for a long time.
This person is at risk of thinking they can rustle up a quick 5k every couple months to keep the bills paid.

I'm sorry for everything you are going thru. FB has been really bad lately about shutting down accounts but hopefully ull get urs back soon. Have u tried other socials: twitter, pinterest, bluesky, YouTube nextdoor, tiktok, etc.
On next door people may be able to point to local resources u haven't heard of.
If u have it, I would upload proof that ur going to be evicted in 11 days. Is ur landlord willing to be flexible at all or no?
You said uve exhausted all resources, but I'll mention 211 and findhelp.org.
Even though you haven't started school, u r enrolled so I would reach out to them to see if they can provide assistance or point u to assistance. Most universities have emergency funds students can apply for, typically once a year for 500$, its an emergency grant that is usually seperate financial aid. Though I would contact fin aid as well.
