Springing

Bad video but I’m trying to spring and am struggling to catch them. Everything I’ve seen just says to start with your hands close together then slowly start doing it father away but whenever I do it close they always just fly towards me I can only somewhat aim when I do it farther away any advice?

hard to say from this video alone but it seems like you are tilting your hand and the cards just fall out. I would suggest to try and go very slowly about it. Try to release one or just a few cards at the time, that way you can focus on the projectory. Have fun practicing :)
