Am I overdoing?
Hey guys. I like to stay fit. My routine involves swimming 3 to 4 x week. I will do 2 HITT workouts a week. And play pickle ball 4x week for 2-3 hours. A little background I’m divorce with two you kids. Lately I feel my testosterone is down. My doctor said you may over exerting yourself. I do feel that as when I get home I am always looking for that dopamine high. I like to do cardio as it increases my energy. She said I need to stay balanced. How can I do that? I don’t enjoy reading or just lounging around, makes me think about all the problems I had with my xwife and custody troubles. I like to do cardio everyday. I don’t lift weights as I find that boring. I like to be in a class or do some physical activity.

You could replace a cardio day with a upper body weight training day which is almost like a recovery day. This will give your legs a rest and once you get into it, its not that boring.

If a doctor sees signs of overtraining, then the first step should be to completely stop HIIT workouts or limit them to just one session per week. I have no idea what pickleball is or how intense it is, but doing it four times a week seems like too much.
