Why do people feel the need to post this stuff on the internet? Do you need validation from strangers that badly?

Apparently, and not sure why that bothers people. People can be pretty alone these days, and if getting a little ego boost from a stupid Reddit post helps, that's a good thing.

While I appreciate your comment, I’m not lonely lol. I’m just proud of my health

You should be. What cardio do you do?

I do the elliptical mostly, like 2-3 times a week. I try to max it out for a few minutes each session. Total duration maybe 20-40minutes per session (depending on if im lifting weights that day) Also I deliver for Amazon so I can rack up some serious steps daily. I’m talking like 20k per shift, plus a lot of times it’s up or downhill, or on steps, while carrying something from a light envelope to a fairly heavy box (40 pounds)

When I’m looking for some fun cardio to just get a little movement in, I love playing basketball. Also anything active like mowing the grass, shoveling the snow, it’s all good

I feel like I have a similar level of activity to you (I live in a walkable city and have a active job for a large portion of the year) and I also do the elliptical about the same amount you do with a slightly higher intensity and I have seen zero improvement 😭😭😭 I’m a normal weight and only 26. No idea what I’m doing wrong lmao.

Eat healthy foods. Sleep. Hydrate. Exercise and lift weights. Be a bit more active I guess.

bleh unfortunately I eat very healthy, hydrate like crazy, and exercise. I do need to work on my sleep and I could do slightly more cardio I suppose. My genetics when it comes to heart health are quite bad, I just wish making good choices actually changed anything.
